It really sucks seeing how much people complain about females in fighting games and video games in general.
I don’t get what’s so wrong about having a good looking hot female with good assets and/or half dressed.
Majority of the people who are bothered by it are Western fans (sadly mainly males, yes goddamn MALES complaining about female characters) who think that female characters should look like “real women” (think MKX women).
If anything I find that more offensive. So all real women are average at best with flat chest skinny bodies covered up head to toe?
It’s also a sexist. It’s okay to have male characters walk around with the body of The Hulk with some in boxers only, but female characters showing skin and/or have T&A is a huge issue?
For example that one female game journalist who complained about R.mika’s design, but then praised Hot Ryu. Double standards at it’s finest.
If anything I find Kratos having three-four…twelve-somes and GTA protagonist having sex with prostitute’s and later on having the option to beat them up and kill them is far more degrading then sexy female characters that can kick ass and defend themselves.
Yes i would agree and i’m looking through old skool spectacles, in your case then i would say yes you are right, especially if there’s not horrible scaling like in 13 especially if there’s 101 different ways to land it, i mean you’re right you’re looking at 20% extra gravy off of a light confirm with a kyo or an iori
But look at it from my point of view which is purely looking at it from a old kof mindset so 98 2k2 all the ums,
it’s chang he never has any light confirms in anything in the past, or he certainly does not have the million and 1 combo routes other characters have
looking back in previous kofs what moves is he possibly gonna link that super off of? if you go back to a game like 2k2 or even 2k2um he had major problems fitting into those games or making use off of the system hence why he is so poor in those games, on one extreme you have k999 or kasumi capable of landing shit at the blink of an eye, then you got chang left with what? couple of good normal’s the odd obscure combo opportunity
Of course i might be wrong i’ve not played the game but when i look back what happened in previous kofs if that super can not be tacked onto other shit chang can do and it’s just used as some sort of invincible reversal/anti air then the damage was not enough for a chracter who previously has major problems landing stuff
Obviously we’ll find out in time, i’m just going on what has happened in the past, i know because it’s happened before does not mean it will happen again, but history does have a habit of repeating itself
Ah I see. Seem’s like a weird thing for a character like Iori to have, but at least they are showing they can do some new things with old characters.
Yeah I don’t get that when really MK females are some of the most slutty looking characters in the genre, plus their outfits get torn to shreds as well, while being covered in blood.
Well these builds are basically pointless given how old the builds are and we don’t know anything we already didn’t know. The palyers are all aweful too so we won’t have a good idea on how anything works until SNK decides to give us a real trailer instead of all of this teaser shit.
KOFXIV might be one of the most mysterious games I’ve seen in a long time. We know almost nothing about it and SNK is keeping things on lock until release it seems.
Yeah, go back a couple of years to Injustice’s build-up. We didn’t get anything of actual damn substance until a month before the game was released outside of a terrible scripted tourney by the developers.
I just want to say in the month of March, there has been two character reveal trailers(6 characters revealed) for KoFXIV but Capcom can’t put together a trailer for a single character that has probably been finished since December. But SNK are the ones keeping secrets
It’s an interesting new take on that super since before it was pretty gimmicky. I mean it could still be used in similar situations and as a general lock down move but it wasn’t very great. Making it a pseudo Yoga Catastrophe is kinda nuts. I’m also curious to see how Kula’s new super works and its applications. Depending on the active frames it looks like it could also be pretty good for ambiguous knockdown oki pressure since they would wake up into ice crystals. There’s a lot of tech to be found in this game I can already see.
capcom is probably too busy trying to undo all of the fuckery that happened with the launch and im hoping what they fix is good because i haven’t touched SF5 in 3-4 weeks and i even bought the game twice
Same, I don’t even care about Alex but I just can’t stand behind Crapcom’s bs right now. I’m so over the game right now and don’t see me getting back into until June(possibly September. If KoF comes out in September or October, I might just sell the game)
If you’re over it now, then get rid of it now. I hate the whole “Well I hope it gets better later.”
If it gets better later, then get it later. But if the game sucks in your opinion now, don’t waste time hoping for later. No game deserves that type of latitude post-release. Either the game is good now or it isn’t.
nothing else coming out that i want and i already got senran kagura so ill keep it for now, as far as i can say im not expecting much out of SF5’s story mode because capcom has never bothered trying to focus on the story til now and even then i can’t even begin to tell whats going on in SF’s story
but i already said i haven’t touched the game in about a month, very few people that i know play fighting games so offering to sell it to them wouldn’t go over well, and there are no games coming out soon that i want so theres not point of me taking it to gamestop to trade it in
as far as i can tell im not making a excuse and im only getting rid of the ps4 version off it when i find something useful to put the money i get from it toward
