Seriously, what gives you the ability to claim it is sensible to abandon SNKp? One “Obviously unfinished product.” You’re seriously judging a game, no wait, a company because you (and several others) didn’t like a game they released? I guess it’s safe to say that you’re judgment is heavily faulted. If anyone ever calls XII a “Bad” game, they seriously have their head too far up into their asses (and some bullshit expectations) to recognize real “Common Sense,” in my opinion these people lack any sense.
You’ve gotta be kidding me, no one “Loves” the KOF “Series.” Everyone picks from the top 5, and claim they play the series. If anyone has any kind of love for the series, they would enjoy XII, brush off the negative reviews, and set their sights for the next release which is promised to be better. Apparently very few are capable of doing such, so XII was essentially labeled a “Failure.” A failure would be something that didn’t live up to expectations, I’m pretty sure SNKp originally expected XII to be a great game, but after years of work they give us what they had done so far. Now, what about the players expectations? Of course not, people were too stuck on the fact that KOF is now caught up in specs, and fail to notice the lack of detail. We wouldn’t speak of SNKp if they couldn’t make a good game, no wait, a game received well by a community of players.
Now sit back and think for once, “Why do you play this franchise?” When you are fully aware that it isn’t fruitful and it’ll be a lonely road. Please someone give me a mature answer.
KOF12 was not a bad game, it was simply a incomplete product that fails to deliver on fan expectation especially when you consider the alternatives. If SNK had released a game like KOFO2UM with KOF12 visuals I am sure everyone here would be singing the tunes of SNK and praising them as a work of art, every company can make good and bad games. Give KOF13 a try, they promised it would live up to expectations so let us just wait and see what SNK has in store.

Ill be perfectly honest when I say I prefer SVC over a lot of fighters, Im not claiming its a great game but I do think its grossly overhyped in the sense of being bad. Anyhow, I think KOF13 will essentially be what KOF12 was promised to be…SSF4 to SF4.
This is the same company that came out with Unlimited Match and Ultimate match in the last 5 years. People seem to forget how great those games were really easily when talking about SNKPM(play these or shut up). Their would be no game companies out there if people acted this stupid every time their was a mistake.
Speaking of Sega did you notice that Sega and SNK both went through financial trouble for exactly the opposite reason’s in roughly the same time period? Kind of ironic.
