We hardcore fans personally thought July 7th was the ORD. (Official release date), but doesen’t matter, as long as there’s a date posted, that game will be ours!!

Any company that continues to push release dates is basically a "fuck you"to the fans, SNK has a long history of this…and yes 5 days really is to much for something that should already be out.
Dude, Delays are a good things. It’s usually a reason to patch up some problems or adding some extra goodies.
It’s for the good of company and ours.
It’s not so bad, I was expecting a world wide release of July 27th or so, but now I have to wait until August 28th, along with everyone else in PAL countries. It sucks, but theres a reason for it (in this case finding a distributor was the issue I think).
This game has already been pushed back already and SNK has this nasty habbit of lying about release dates. Why do they set these promises if they cannont deliver on them…at least have the forsesight to know when ur damn product will drop stores. I have never seen any other company that this wonky system of managment in regards to release dates…no wonder no one play KOF in the USA.

they delayed the game because SNKP did the online netcode in-house from what I heard.
They wanted to make it better.
Even now it won’t be GGPO quality but I’m sure it’s better now than if they had released it last month.
You do know Ignition never gave an “Official release date”? They were all “Coming to July”. When they finally announced the official release date, it was on “Julu 28th” that is just right.
The 7, 18 were just rumors, that went way out of hand making peopel believe those were official. Sadly, they’re now. :wonder:

I would say this release date fiasco is mostly on Ignition’s hands, for the territories they’re releasing it in.

Gamestop most likely made the 24th up. As long as it arrives by the 28th, it’s not SNK’s fault- for once.
