People are seriously considering NOT supporting a brand new, completely redrawn, 2D fighting game released in 2009 if the online isn’t good? What, are you gonna sit this one out and wait for the next brand new, completely redrawn 2D fighter to come along? Don’t hold your breath.
Nevermind the fact that this game isn’t officially out yet, and the netcode could still be under construction…
I’m willing to bet that 95+% of the fighting games in anyone’s library have no online play…and, yet people still play the heck out of them.

For real man. If everyone is patient I am sure the online issues will be solved once the patch comes out. BB had the same problems and now the game plays GREAT online.
But for now I am having a great time playing the CPU.

A valid point as it is very sparse in single player offerings. Should the netcode improve after the “messiah” patch. I hope to get my 60 dollars worth and much more with this game. but to each his/her own

I’ve found hosting my own games to be far superior. If someone in the red joins, kick them. I had two consecutive matches with the same guy; lag free. He took me in the first match. I got to his third guy with my first character (Iori). Terry batted clean-up.

TBH, I don’t give a fuck if KoFXII is the last major 2D fighter ever made. If everyone copies SF4’s engine style from now on, that would be perfect.
