Went through the same shit with Blazblue. Ashley calls your ass when the game is in Gamestop’s warehouses and is ready to ship. STILL might take a day before it hits stores. She should just say “It’ll come around 11 the day after tomorrow.”

KOF is going to be off the hook. I wish they would have added some trials and what not. I guess online play is really going to have to carry the load for this game. I do hope they continue the story though. I would like to know what happens with Ash …hopefully he dies and Iori gets his powers back.

From what I remember, Ash has been trying to steal the powers of the descendants of the clans who sealed Orochi (Kyo, Iori, and Chizuru). So far, he’s taken both Chizuru’s and Iori’s powers, with Kyo being the only one left. Chizuru lost her powers at the end of 2003, and Ash took Iori’s powers at the end of XI, after Iori went crazy and attacked Kyo and Shingo.

Yes, it’s like KoF '98 and '02. However, most of the characters in XII seem to be important to the upcoming storyline, and it does seem to follow the events of XI, with Iori not having his powers anymore. KoF XIII is probably going to be the game that actually continues the storyline.
If that is the case…then what is the time frame we are looking at for a new game… 2 yrs maybe. You know they are just going to re-use the sprites and maybe add a few more characters.
I was really looking forward to seeing what happen with Iori/Ash/Kyo storyline. Oh well.
But yeah Projectjustice , arcelonious nailed the story line pretty much. I mean XI didnt have a huge story too it but what story it did have I was wanting to get some answers from where they left off.

We’ll see. It just seems weird to me that the game will come out on a friday as opposed to the usual mon-wed schedule most games follow. I got the call from Robo Ashley myself and still wonder if it wasn’t just a large mistake on Gamestop’s part. Either way I won’t be able to pick it up until tuesday anyway.
