I wouldnt worry about the online at all. I posted an interview a few pages back that SNK understands how important it is. With the online Clan feature is going to be amazing.
Note: Garou and KOF98UM, were outsourced to a small chinese company for the XBL ports. KOF12 is entire being done by SNK.
It would be nice if the Xbox 360 would eventually get the clan functionality. I may eventually get both versions, but to start I’m going with the 360 even though it’s missing that.

yea, but the 3 on 3 is still there, so no worries on that. There’s already some clans brewing up. DG heading up the SRK KOFXII clan thats been having sign ups at the strategy section. Reynald and Co from AI are forming their own clan, hell ignitionforums are starting sign ups for theirs.

I’m just worried that SNK might not do anything about the current problems (IE - a full second of input lag) and try to use these features such as clans to mask the problem. Oh, we have shit netcode, BUT YOU CAN MAKE A CLAN!
If I’m wrong, and they have good netcode in this game, then I will tip my hat to them for finally listening to the fans.
But something still tells me that they won’t fix it. They will take this “I know, but I just don’t care” attitude.

So am I understanding the clan feature correctly? On PS3 you can have three human controlled players vs three human controlled players with named clans.
360 does not have clan support, so I assume no 3 on 3 human matches.
Or you can have the 3 on 3 on 360, you just can’t name your clan?

EDIT: going to check tomorrow anyway. if they got it then i’m picking it up at the brick and mortar and canceling the online.

Have you ever played a KOF game? The whole basis of the series is 3 vs 3 fighting. If it doesnt have this feature it wouldnt be a KOF game. Now the clan feature is online for you and your friends to make a team and challenge other clans. Like something you find in COD4.

Well, what do you mean by stop? Close heavy attacks aren’t invincible, they are just regular moves like everything else. Just only attack when you’re supposed to (at frame advantage) and you won’t get hit. Even without CC, counter-hit close heavy attacks give big combos because they have that Garou turn-around stun. Just play solid and you won’t get CCed.
Low scores are due to low single player features found in the game. Not the gameplay.
My local GameStop says they got the game today and they’ll be selling it tomorrow.
Where was the anything posted about a full second of input lag? That is pretty garbage if true.
