King’s Mixup option is good, shes got easy BC Cancels, Does easy damage, high priority on normals, she has what Kasumi lacks in a Fireball, but Kasumi has a better MAX2. So while I think yes King is overrated overall (Not unstoppable like some youtube people whine about), I can still see where she’s top tier. No way May Lee is bottom tier. Angel’s worse than May Lee in this game and I think most everyone agrees on that.
I can see Seth higher than Ralf from looking at the match vids I see, if you see how Seth is used in the game3talk videos (He’s used A LOT) You can see he has more options in this game than Ralf. He’s been slightly beefed up overall to where he does decent damage instead of pitiful damage in addition to better priority on his specials, and thus I can see him being on the upper mid tier list in this particular game.

i really like how Clark is in 2k2um… he has all the moves from 94 to 2002…i cant ask more (except the MAX2 which is quite difficult xD)

Clark is still lethal in the right hands in this game, don’t think otherwise, he can still shut down quite a few characters.
His MAX2 is a long string of attacks pretty much a Clark Deadly Rave. Looks cool but does crappy damage.

I don’t like this tier list at all. The fact that it goes all the way down to G makes it look like there is a very big gap between the high and low tiers but there really isn’t. This tierlist should have went down to either C- or D, that’s it.
Hinako is pretty solid in this game from all the top level videos I’ve seen, shouldn’t be that low.
I do agree with the top tiers though, and yes I think Benimaru should be that high (buffs in pretty much every way, has all his good stuff from most games).

I don’t understand how Athena is considered one of the worst characters in UM. How is that even possible? May Lee too? And O.Yash being as bad as Chin? The list is too far spread out. For a game to have and F and G rank… that’s too out there and unbelievable for 2002UM.
These lists have to be taken with a grain of salt. Or rather laughed at.
I don’t get it why people arent’ giving much credit to Iori.
He’s got decent mix-ups, he has ways to combo into Rekkas/Super/BC combo off a overhead/low hit/grab (in the case of a BC combo that’s half of the opponent’s life). He seems to have problem against characters w/ a good keepaway game but once he gets in one successful mix-up can lead to good damage.
