Alright so more details on the stick so there’s no speculation or rumors flying around. (and to debunk HvE’s lame ass theory)
It was picked up by mistake by one of the Windsor guys by mistake (SaitoKojima). Now we talked about it and it was all a misunderstanding and he promised to return it when he has a chance.
phew, so much drama. good thing raid found his stick. Anyways, so I’m still on the market for a stick. I’ve found a TvC stick for the Wii and a KOF stick for the 360. Ironically I haven’t found one for the ps3 and that’s what I need. Since I’m super engineering stunted, would anybody be willing to do the mod job for me? Obviously I’ll pay you whatever price you think is reasonable for the parts and labour.
On a side note, I need to show up once in a while so people don’t think I’m dead.

With that board you can actually make it a triple mod…ps3/wii/360…even 6 way mod with the second gen consoles is possible for the lulz (a cable nightmare though).
However…it is out of stock. Search around and see if you can find it. I may have a spare one but I can’t remember if I sold it or not.
I don’t like this story at all. You don’t “accidentally” pick up a stick. Especially when you blatantly don’t own one. You ask who’s it is(I’m sure half of you know what Ra’ids stick looks like) and return it or leave it with an organizer. Very disappointing, I don’t beat around it, that’s stealing. I won’t be having Saito around my place anytime soon.

This is where lack of full details end up sounding bad.
I did ask around who’s it was, for at least 20 minutes. All I got was “I dunno” esque responses, and had this feeling that whoever owned the stick might have been someone outside from the organizers. (It wasn’t even Raid who lent it to me for SSF4AE casuals after the tournament, some random guy was leaving and was like “You can use this one” when I was already about to just use my own)
So I kept it with me to keep it safe and sound, awaiting for posts and stuff on SRK to ask about it and report it missing.
Hell, the joystick and some of the buttons (MP and MK buttons) were kind of loose feeling, so I even fixed that up so it’d be better.

that is, without a doubt, one of the most RIDICULOUS things I have ever seen anyone try to hawk to me as truth. What are we in the 5th grade? Not only is that a load of SHIT but the bottom line of it is, you left with SOMEONE ELSE’S PROPERTY to a place 3 HOURS AWAY. I don’t believe for a second you asked anyone(and bear in mind I know these guys personally) around the shop trying to find it’s owner. You really think you can play it off as you asked around the autoshop for TWENTY MINUTES and didn’t end up asking rb? scott? gary? RAID HIMSELF? who are you kidding? Yea you also modded it within 24h(which to me shows the thievery too) and tried to charge ra’id for it. You stole the stick and that pretty much makes you a write off.
And to any of you guys wondering, I went up for the “promotion”, the store was unethical, made things right with my gf(and future wife) and so ATM I’m back in Windsor. That’s not to say I still might not go up but I’m in a tricky spot family wise. My grandpa recently passed and my grandma is currently in bad shape and just moved out of the home(due to my lack of funds) and I feel responsible for ensuring that she gets the care she needs. I luckily know plenty of PSWs and my gf is very close to being a nurse so hopefully we’ll be able to help out any way we can.
Seriously Saito come on. You seem like an alright guy and probably arn’t stupid, so I’m not gonna turn this into a flame post, but you came up to me throughout the whole tourney asking when your matches were, and yet you didn’t come talk to me during your 20 minutes of asking around whos stick it is? The sudden modification of the stick as well definitely does not sit well with any onlookers of what is going on.
The autoshop is typically very happy to lend out sticks and stuff for people who do not have one to play, but with acts like this, whether it be theft or not, and just the fact that people will take off with it instead of you know…leaving it at the site where it was being used…makes future use our property almost impossible except to those we know on a personal level.
Either way though thanks for returning the stick in the end, just if you speak the truth and you really did have good intentions, please use your head next time and then nobody will question whether this was a theft attempt.

Saito, I have to disagree with rob, you are obviously a very stupid individual. Your reasoning and excuses defy any logic found in today’s society.
Should we be thanking you for taking the stick without asking who’s it is? Perhaps we should thank you for attempting to modify it in order to attempt to fix the loose buttons? (or changing its appearance so it would be harder to identify perhaps).
You should probably stop trying to justify this, admit to being a piece of shit and promptly terminate your existence.

OK guys, let it drop. The original arrangement was that if the stick was to be returned, there would be anonymity and no punishment. If you shit on this guy for returning the stick, why would anyone else who impulsively grabbed something ever admit it again? Leave it be. I know it sucks, but Raid you should never have let the guys name drop on here in the first place.
