well, I read an interesting review of playing AE. Janet, the best rog player in Korea, posted it on Korean SF4 forum. he played 50-60 games.
boxer: headbutt recovery frames are increased, what he said, standing up animation is added, so opponents are easily able to punish boxer.
headbutt hit box is also changed, max range cr. mp into hp headbutt doesn’t connect.
dash punches: hit/ block frame adv. are nurfed, if you HIT dash punch on geif and it’s not the max range, geif can (punish) 360.
dictator got better.
geif: the upper hit box of ex green hand is buffed, jump back for baiting ex green hand is going to be hard.
vs guile: air grab is nurfed, throwing boom > air grab will never work. it’s better to give up this set up. guile’s pressure (after throwing sonic boom) isn’t as good as SSF4 (because of air grab nurf)
vs chun, abel: same as SSF4. at least, he couldn’t find any big difference.
vs ryu: if ryu is in the corner, you can keep pressure and make a game bit easier since ryu can’t use chopper tatsu.
vs sagat: it’s easier than SSF4 since tiger shot nurfed. (he only played 18k bp sagat once)
he also watched that the staff changed AE setup for a small tourney. there is no hidden chars like akuma in vanilla.
and he thought that Capcom just did some small balance changes on AE but it’s totally a different game.
Ibuki mirrors are awesome. I’m in.
