as per bill’s request, I’ll assign the black crt to have one AH3 station going tonight. Robbie requested a marvel 2 setup, so I’ll have it running on one of the LCD’s.
please check with scott or myself if you guys wanna run different games. we encourage variety during casual nights, but super 4 will always take priority.

Are you expecting to have all but one of the LCDs being used by SSF4 tonight? That is the only reason I can see for imposing this restriction.
This is disappointing. I wanted to help unite the communities by moving AH3 casuals to the autoshop as well, but if the game is going to be restricted to 1 setup (on a CRT, even…) then we’d might as well play AH3 at my place or at Cbone’s: more setups (on better TVs) and no venue fee.
Please let me know asap if we can use the CRT *and *one LCD for AH3. And let me know if Scott will be using his Xbox for one of the setups or if we have to bring both of them.
If we can’t have more than one setup then… well, I’d like to come and teach people more about the game, but tonight I’m not the one bringing the PS3 and I’ve only got one PS3 stick with me. If it’s on Scott’s XBox, then I predict we’ll run out of XBox sticks. And if we need to bring a PS3, then I doubt we’ll have one: I’m not going to ask other people to spoil tonight’s AH3 casual by donating a setup to the autoshop. So either way, if we’re limited to one setup then there’s no point in me or anyone else from the community showing up tonight.
Remember: this is a real game that people are taking seriously, not just some fad or random fuckaround for when we’re bored.
(And fwiw, I’m going to have a shot of winning tournaments in this game. But I can’t do it without the support of smart players and a strong community. And I can already tell I’m not the only one with this potential.)

Bill, the reason the game was put on crt is because it is a 4:3 game, therefor, it doesnt look as good on lcd as it does on crt. Secondly, the game isnt “restricted” to anything, please look at this from a reasonable perspective. If 1 game has 5 people playing, while 20 people are playing another, does it make sense for thr 5 people to have 2 setups? Im gladly letting my modded xbox be used for AH3 because i want to try it out. If there becomes a larger amount of people that are interested in playing the game, more setups will be put towards it.
Please dont post stuff like this, you’ve been asked 3 times now to bring up issues like this “in person” as to avoid any unnecessary drama and to further avoid any misunderstandings.

I saw that you guys are selling the Hori HRAP 3 SA/HRAP SE at the shop. Are there any SA’s in stock right now? I would ideally like to try one out before buying. Would there be a problem if I brought a PS3 setup (with monitor) do to so? As long as I there for casuals, I would have no problems letting anyone else use my setup for casuals (barring approval of course).
