kingdom hearts 3d looks dope as hell, im really impressed by the small gameplay we saw
and to everyone saying the “spinoffs” dont matter to the main story all i can say is lol. every single game with the name kingdom hearts has relevance to the story but its obvious that most people just played kh2 for the hype and never bothered actually playing any of the spinoffs or even reading up on the story so they are up to date. by the time kh3 which your anxiously waiting for drops you wont have a clue what in the hell is going on

Yea cuz KH’s stories so good to begin with.
KH stories are decent at best. Its like they build up on all this mythology but the payoff for it isn’t good.
I’m just tired of the spinoffs being on portable systems when they could easily sell just as well on consoles. And why oh why are the final mixes of the games so much better than what we get especially when it came to KH2. The final mix for that game had a ridiculous amount of extra content that was worth a second buy.
I won’t go into detail about it because I’m convinced I already made this post a few pages back, but the story WAS good until KH2 came out. CoM was the only side game I really loved. Granted I never finished BBS yet, but it seems like they are trying way to hard to make all of the shitty story concepts from KH2 make sense. Ansem was better when he was actually Ansem and was a noble king who got corrupted from his curiousity researching the darkness. Riku was better when he embraced his darkness and his light together without the goofy crap of him looking like Ansem when he used dark power. Sora was better when didn’t run away from Kairi to give Riku teary hugs. Roxas was better when he was still just a kick ass concept from a special ending and not a nonsensical confusing shell who kinda has a heart and looks just like this other guy from back in the day who… shit I wasn’t supposed to be going into detail. My bad.

I enjoyed the story until Days tbh. GBA CoM was so fuckin dope and underrated IMHO. I really just dislike Xion, the digital world shit and Old pervy Xehanort. I mean, I fiend on the Ansem reports (I was knee deep in my KH phases) and finding out The Organization’s real names, what happened and essentially foretold what was bound to happen (they been said that I’m the first game though). Think that’s why I hated days. It brought in so much unnecessary.
The Final Mixes seem to fix nearly every inch of the main games. Did BBS Final Mix drop?
honestly i really just think that bitching about the handheld games and the story is stupid, if the story took a turn you didn’t like but you still like the series for the gameplay, the handhelds have pretty good gameplay. hell i like the gba COM more than i did kh2, and the only handheld i cant stand is days. its just so dry and boring imho. but all im saying is tetsuya nomura is working on ffvs13 for a million years now and chances are kh3 hasnt even started production, so embrace the handhelds or just wait
as for the story, i dont really think its a bad story and dont mind how he decided to tie everything together. its not an amazing story with amazing plot twists at every turn(the fact that the xehanort that became ansem the wise’s apprentice and eventually went on to become ansem seeker of darkness and xemnas is actually terra was a good twist imo though) but its decent enough for me to want to keep up with it
