I use this pair often with Kaz on point, much harder work than Ken/King but much higher damage output. Neither character has a widely useful reversal, everything both characters does is very situational so you kind of need to know your stuff a little bit before you really start winning convincingly, plus they both eat a lot of meter throughout a round. Honestly Kaz is the most flexible character in the game after Ryu, works well with everyone, so does King more or less.
Been using Guile and King.
I might drop King eventually though I’m just not jiving with the way he plays on this game similar to how I feel about Hwoarang.
I’m running Poison/King as one of my alt teams , I feel this is a pretty good team
How about Lars/king…thinking about picking king up
Before this game came out I said I would Main Hwoarang and King. I did so but King was severally limited and I stopped with that team. THen move to Elena X King. Both did not worked out. Before and up to when this patch came out, Ive been reading up on this thread and a few others. I tried Hwoarang X King again and it works really good, but not as good as you guys said Juri X King would (was going to make that the final team till), but I found Kings Partner…
I call them, “Dignity & the Beast”. OMG!!! The synergy is AMAZING!!! Im so hype Im gonna make a combo video today.

Juri is easily King’s best partner. You can easily get close or over 500 easily with one bar. Or close to 600 for 2. Their team snergy is downright awesome.
I get that damage with Nina, Law, Dudley dunno who else. I myself was on the hunt for a point character for King, i finally got Lars.

I play Lili Poison and Vega. Just kinda wondering which character would have the best synergy with him.
Poison mostly, she have a good wake up and can zone…
im playing Rolento/king. im not finding much synergy in this team. But im still getting lots of victories online. Im thinking of dropping one, or both of these characters. I cant get kings knee to connect after taging him in after Rolento’s rekka. Is it even possible to do?

Sagat/King. The Kings of SFxT. A well placed AA tag switch, King can do so much damage.
King is my Leader and my Back ups are Jin, Marduk, law, Lili, Julia, Dudley, and Asuka. They all work pretty well together with King, especially Jin and Marduk.
Who do you guys feel is the best partner for King? I’ve been playing Paul/King which is ok but has a lot of problems.
I want to find someone who really compliments King well and that I’ll like to play.
Juri. However Chun and Nina is up there. I think there’s something good with Yoshi just untapped.

Not the best, but man is it fun. Everything is so satisfying to land. I think it’s the best team in terms of just landing hits hahah.
I currently run Hwo/King or Law/King with decent success. Been contemplating Juri as a point recently but overall it seems the best teammates are whoever can build meter and get in so king can do work.

Considering King’s strengths/weaknesses, you want someone as a point character to tag him in for knee combos safely and can go on the offensive when needed IMO.
King doesn’t have the pressure like other characters so it can be somewhat difficult for him to land damage if needs to make a comeback. So someone that can do it for him by opening up your opponents. Additionally, King is very strong on defense so having someone be his offense makes a lot of sense.
Been debating on replacing Dudley for King. I really like the team but in high level tournament play its an up hill battle. So I was going to go back to my Hwoarang X King team but I think Im gonna use Chun Li X King. Chun can build the meter and still be offensive that King needs. I’ll still play Dudley but partner him up with Hwoarang.
