If the Mexicans aren’t allowed to play, im boycotting this…I never had problems w/ DJ, Bastard, Kyouya, & Yito connection…You cant have the best of GGPO if the best aren’t allowed to play…
Mexico should be allowed to play , if you are a regular on ggpo, you know that usa and mex play all the time just fine, cutting mexico will only decrease the quality of the event.
The Mexicans present some of the highest levels of competition. And I never get any connection issues with them. I want to play with them. That’s my input.

I’ve talked with a couple of players and the other TOs and we’re going to do is basically make it like KING OF GGPO I with US, Canada and Mexico eligible to participate. For KING OF GGPO I, we had a ping limit of 150ms however we did not enforce it very strictly but we will be doing so this time with a ping limit of 160ms, so please be aware of that. TOs will be checking pings before the tournament.
Due to this change in format, players from Mexico will not be allowed to participate in the KING OF GGPO Latin America tournament.
Let’s make this a great tournament and make it bigger and better than the last one!
