As a long time SNKPL & KOF fan I am realy impressed with the video its very well doner and indepth. Awsome job and cant wait for more chapters.
Honestly, we should organize some training time on GGPO or something. I need to practice on kof plus learn how to use my shitty arcade stick on top of that.
But I aint the only one here see…there’s other people out there that have other experiences out there like me…so though I am more than happy to help people out (PM me etc and I’ll do my best to direct you etc like I did with you Tooserius) , I ain’t the only one out there. Just because I win tournaments and stuff doesnt mean others opinions mean anything less…
So sure I’ll help but these other opinions and stuff are just as valid…
So though its flattering don’t put me on a pedestal… :china: Get help wherever you can get it…be it from me, Emil, Dandy J, Rogueyoshi, whoever can help take the help and use what you can to help you find your niche and get comfortable in the game. :china:

Training segments would be pretty cool. I’m up for that idea.
Also for anyone that it applies to:
Can I play US guys from South Africa, Or Any other country for that matter on Gppo?
I can play fine on my Ps3 when playing FPS games.
Yeah, you can play people from other countries. The only issue is the ping. If the ping is too high there’s gonna be lag.
I won’t play anyone from Japan because with my connection, the ping to them is at least 200 which is pretty bad. And the Brazilians are just as bad.
Hey, I was looking someplace to play kof. I just recently got on 2dfighter and got ggpo like a month back. I personally finding myself sucking at SNK based fighters but I felt like picking this up since kofXII looked pretty beast. I’m getting downloading them now, so if you see me on either one, don’t be afraid to get free wins.
BTW, which kof will be better to start with 98 or 2002? Those are the only kof roms I have. The only kof I’ve ever played was 99 I think where k’ was first introduced. Memory might be fuzzy.
'98 is easier to start with.
2nd part is up:
The 10 minute limit kind of forced me to make a part 3…so since I’ll have another whole 10 mins I’m gonna go ahead and cover non-xii stuff like alternate guard, guard cancel roll, etc. And yes there’s a section on rolls and run under anti-air, it’s in part 3 haha.
thx … good work as always
anyways i think i should revive talks for some KOF training via GGPO, plus since part 2 is out. We can talk about that since tahts a ton of information to Digest.
An idea; how about we post videos of the best players (with certain characters) in action?
I think this guy qualifies as among the best Heavy D players.

^ That was stupidly great. LOL
That was a sweet combo at the end there. Definitely gonna have to keep that one in mind. On the other hand that Joe was fantastic too at the keepaway game.
You need to do that combo for Heavy D’s challenge in 98UM (SDM version). I can’t for the life of me mash out that much WKs and WPs into super.
You can do it an easier way in 98UM besides that to get the 26 or so hits.
Haven’t even got to that challenge because the second row actually requires some though, so I just started playing GGAC+'s Mission mode that is a complete joke compared to this.
So I just picked KOF '98 and '02 because they seem to be the most popular. Are the other KOF games even worth playing? I don’t really see any mention of them other than XI.
Man, these games take a while to adjust to when all you play is Capcom fighters. It’s also difficult to learn since everyone on GGPO knows what the hell they’re doing. I need to get some games in with someone who’s willing to teach me a few things.
It depends on what your definition of “worth playing” is.
