Probably because it’s late for most of the people on the site (past 3 AM here, oh and no problem)
The real surprise to me is that he’s lower than Clark in their list.

Def some chars have it much easier than others but seeing how 3/4ths of the cast is pretty cluttered together gives some hope for some variety* in teams
*=Not expecting any from the Asian players tbh tho. Usually USA seems to be more open to trying different char combinations

I always find it funny when Tier list are taken seriously. As soon as someone says “Hey, *X feels strong! He’s got the tools for everything! But *Y sucks, because he doesn’t have a good Anti-Air”, you’ve pretty much already started deciding on who’se strongest, and who’se weaker. That’s all I’ll ever view such list as; it’s just a visual way to represent percieved character strength.
It’s nothing to really base personal character picks on; each player should pick up characters based on personal play styles, not on some stupid list.
I think it’s a good tool to suggesting how balanced and well-planned a fighter feels, however. These are pretty tight tiers, and a majority of the cast is percieved as being rather strong. That’s a pretty good sign to new players, or to people on the fence on whether this game is good; The company actually care enough to let YOU decide from a majority of the cast, non-tourney-level player, without being insta-outclassed due to “LawLZ, Girlz Ir WEAK! Crap HO fer Yew!”, or “This guy is better, because the story says he should be!” bull.
**SRK or Dreamcancel?: ** Personally, I dislike how “to the side” this KoF subforum feels. Does anyone come in here, who’se not already an SNKP fan? XIII’s general discussion really should be put in the “General Fighting Game Discussion” portion of the board, to let non-fans know we’re talking about a solid new game, in a classic series.
Since DC seems to be pulling a good amount of community from the various SNK fansites, I’m a bit more partial to it, for now. It’s better organized for detailed discussion and reference.
Just build up the community at Dreamcancel. SRK’s still riding SSF4 and MvC3’s dick high and mighty to not pay attention to the other fighters seriously. As sad as it is. It’s something that needs to change since the site’s all about the “change” now.
one thing I do agree on are how the forums are adjusted. Especially when SF4 is sitting right up in the same section as newbie/FGD/GD. It’s clear no one ever goes down further to the sub game forums.
