Noticed Beth ALSO has a nice, ranged kick here, much like Shens from earlier. She and Mature also have a few jumping normals that angle downward, which they both lacked in XII. THANK YOU! They both needed these normal boost.
Betty’s “throw” super grabbed Duo Lon from a stupid range there, both times I’ve seen it in vids, it’s had insane range. Fine by me, though I expect this to be the exception, not the rule.
The First match matches had some fun moments ( Ryo “Haoh Shokou ken!” -blocked, then answered with Yuri’s “Haoh Shokou Ken!”) but didn’t notice anything too meaningful.

I’m liking these vids ReXXX has been posting. I really hope the story is as good as the gameplay.
I keep thinking the story is gonna end up with Ash being one of the 13 sacred treasures and his ancestors also wanted the power of Orochi. So their flames were tainted and became a green melted wax-like flame in exchange for power. Then Ash got tangled up with the wrong people(TFTP) and now he sees the perfect chance to redeem his family and stop this group from giving thier master Orochi’s power by gathering up the 3 strongest treasures to gain enough power to defeat them. While everybody else thinks he’s just doing it because he’s power hungry.
Then Ash becomes a boss trying to stop anyone in his way. He loses control of his power(KOF style lol) and dies. Then the treasures return to their owners and nobody cares that Ash died because he was such a dick.
His boss form should use his alt costume for KOF:MIRA. It was actually scary

As much as I’d like to see Team K`, I think it’s more likely that they’ll reveal Hwa Jai, Takuma or Vice next and save the K’ and company for last.
Thanks for this vid Rex! It will be interesting to see what kind of combo variety the game will have now that it is absent of CD combos. I can’t wait to see what kinds of crazy things people come up with once it hits arcades.
On another KOFXIII tangent I’m really happy to see some Elizabeth in action, after KOFXI she took first place for me. It’s always awesome to see an equestrian hotty kicking ass.
I’m thinking two characters. K’ and Takuma, maybe? Or Vice and K’?

Probably K’, Takuma and Yamazaki. Then hold out on the final three till it gets closer to release.
If everyone’s predictions about the charactes were right, just Hwa Jai, Vice, and Takuma will be introduced next. Kind of rather see Oswald in-place of Vice; I like Vice, but Oswald would be very unexpected, and be one more cool additional style and animation for the roster. Same for Eiji or Kasumi over Takuma, but we’ll see. I’m for keeping Hwa Jai though, as long as he doesn’t mirror Joe with half his moves, I’m interested in him.
K’s and (hopefully) TFTP team should be introduced soon after I’m hoping.

This was an SNK game, I think the protagonist will debut in KOFXIII.
lol at yamazaki, i only wish. since the games introduction it only seemed logical to include swaps, in the end its swaps indeed. not mad though, i would have been more surprised if they would have been other characters. gota wait and see what 14 will bring. till then its all about 13. and im still glad the scrub characters (chang,choi) and general bitchasses got left out (hina, momo, all them.)
Yusa Diary says that there will be at least 3 more characters at the Sega Shinjuku beta than at the 1st beta, and the new system to be shown further.
