King of Chinatown Documentary - Justin Wong - Empire Arcadia

We did, it’s in the alternate ending special feature… Our movie was made for not just you, but the mainstream. We did not introduce Gamerbee as a character since it didn’t make sense when we brought him in. Our test audiences all said “Who is that KId?”

Wasnt necessary, so we cut it. I think you should watch it, it’s our favorite deleted scene.

BTW good news, definitely getting on XBL and PSN in the next month, dates coming soon. Also iTunes & Amazon are definite, just waiting on a date. We did it!

King of Chinatown ran into some hiccups regarding music rights. Some of the music has been changed, we made some quick edits, and we’re back on track. The movie just released on iTunes and Playstation Network today. It will hit xbox live shortly. Please help spread the word and help make gamers as famous as the games they play.

Thanks again for all your help and support

I feel like that triforce dude just didn’t have his business in check and from what it looks like rode on the coatails of justin and his players instead of developing his talent and branching them out. Hell he had players like yipes, sanford, andre etc and seems like he didn’t do too much as far as exposing them to the media. Hell with the crazy following yipes had for the past 2 yrs and the personalities of the other emp dudes how come none of them was promoted sooner (jagos show, yipes merchandise)? It seems like dude just couldn’t grasp the business side of things. He if I was triforce emp In its heyday would have been major force and been had legit sponsorships with the talent he had.

Triforce was actually doing the opposite, trying to decrease the exposure of his members. A lot of hype that was born in CTF, Triforce tried to steal. Triforce was too busy scamming potential new gamers and monopolizing top gamers to monopolize tournament winnings in order to maintain rent to notice that his dreams had no real direction and that he was just doing the same thing over and over with no success.

I thought this was the most awkward documentary ive seen. compared to the Justin of ‘now’, it seemed like he was a little kid that triforce needed to take care of. No offense though(Jwong is one of my fave players)

Justin has been a high level player / member of the community for a long time now. There are many videos on the net of his growth as a person / player. My personal opinion is that the reason he was with Triforce was to learn from him and to grow.

Our movie covers a 2 year window of this of footage that we personally collected. Our point was to show the mass public a story of two people that actually make money playing video games. In this time we saw a relationship falling apart which we knew would be interesting to a larger crowd. Our reviews from people that know nothing about street fighter are really high. The community reviews are all across the board, which is what we want since we also made the movie for you as well.

All in all I am glad that people have an opinion after watching our movie, even if they did not like the film, the fact that people think to type on the forums after watching it means we did well. ESPECIALLY for the small budget that we had.

Again, without the community we would have nothing, thank you for being a part of our first film. We’ve learned a lot making this one, and there will be more, even better films.
