 Save some money and pre-reg  pre-registration ends Thursday July 29th. GET HYPED!!!
Noooooooooo, wont have money by that time, but will have money when the con starts, don’t really mind paying the little extra monies.
i’m gonna make it out to this! ssf4 , bb:cs and halo!
This sounds strangely appealing. Will there be CvS2 at all?
Also, what kind of TVs/monitors is SSF4 gonna be played on? Will there be xbox360 sticks, or is it BYOS?
 We do have one stick but most likely someone will be using it so It is definitely BYOS. We don’t have an official tourny for CvS2 but we will have it there. If it’s not up on a monitor as the game-room staff. As far as Tv/monitors I can assure you they all work fine but as far as the exact name/model for them I can’t recall at the moment. I’ll have to check with the guy bringing them.
Also make sure to Pre-register ASAP
What would be assuring is at least SOME technical detail. Are these TVs CRTs? VH236H monitors? A simple yes or no will do much better than assurance.
 O ok I will let you know by Friday evening what t.V.'s they are.
Good news is Pre-registration has been extended till monday august 2nd.
Even better news 1st place for SSF4 (Saturday) is $100. And adding more info to main page as well.
 so we have CRT’s and Samsung HD Flat screen TVs.
remember pre-registration is open till monday.
And the convention is one week away.
Updated first post further
Might check it out Saturday for cvs2.
 TONIGHT IS THE LAST NIGHT FOR PRE-REGISTRATION! If you have not done so already go to Game-Zone Recreation and Pre-register to save some money. Also Invite friends and family. If you can come early and enjoy the whole convention as well. There will be random prizes given out as well for other events at the convention.
WTF? I need to look harder for tournaments near where I live.
Anyway, this is great, I’m so going to this, but my only problem is that I don’t have a 360 stick. Hopefully I can get a regular TE 360 stick.
I have a few questions to ask:
Please answer these questions in this thread as soon as possible. The more information you provide to the people, the better.
At #3: The first post says that it’ll be up to 128 on Fri and 256 on Sat. Here is the schedule for the convention
Those are the player caps for SSFIV only. What if people wanted to enter the other tournaments?
Thank you for the link to the schedule. However, it only states when tournaments begin. Sign-ups for tournaments usually start earlier than the tournament itself, so I was wondering if there would be any notification of when actual sign-ups will start. Or will it literally start at the same time as said tournament will start?
 Tournaments will start at their scheduled times and you can sign up for tournaments as soon as the convention opens at 10am. Sign up ends a little bit before (whatever) tournament starts. There will not be a player cap for the other tournaments. The main reason we’re putting a cap on SSF4 is so that we can finish on time before the convention closes. Sorry if anything is unclear as far as the other tournaments.
Blazblue:CS is on both 360 and Ps3
Tekken 6 is on Ps3
Tatsunoko vs Capcom is on Wii
Smash Brawl is on Wii
Iron Gamer Competition is on multiple consoles so be ready for anything :wgrin:
Every thing else (Halo 3 etc.) is on 360
Updating 1st post with this info.
Hope to see you guys there. GET HYPED!!!:woot::rock::chainsaw::nunchuck::party: :lovin::party:
Hm? BlazBlue is on 360 AND ps3? Wouldn’t that create some issues? Especially with pad players.
Also, will there be casuals for all the games? Or are there too many time and setup constraints/limitations?
Blazblue should be fine (we had to make that on both 360 and Ps3 to make sure we had the game and all characters unlocked. Yes even Makoto too :wgrin:)
There should be plenty of casuals as well for every game.
