LionX, were you the guy with the t5 stick? GGs if so. I’m Joshua. Tourney was fun, the lack of those cash prizes was pretty lame. Swag, no matter how copious, does not make for a reasonable substitute.
Yep, that was me. ^^ I had alot of fun playing with you all. I was pretty disappointed with the prizes as well. I thought it was a real GTA4 game too, then it was just the case…lame

the con was excellent! we had around 350 people by a ruff estimation not sure exactly yet.
and the game room was definitely packed.
as for the tournament prizes one of our staff members was in charge of that and I Gave him a list of all the prizes to give out to wat places and the cash prize for 1st in most of the games. To my knowledge he was suppose to follow it all the way but I know they got swamped down there pretty bad in the game room so in the confusion he may have messed up a little. I know 100% for sure the guy who won smash brawl got his cash prize. Although this is news to me that people or someone didn’t get their cash prize and for that I’m sorry. If you have won one of our tournies at the con that had a cash prize for it and you did not get it please tell or pm me about it and during the next tourny we have (or the next time we see you) you shall receive it. :bgrin:
yes there were a few problems and most of them were out of our control (like construction day of the con). and there was a point when we were really understaffed bad for a bit around prime time.
But overall the con was a blast and I really can’t wait for the next one. Also I’d like to hear everything you guys thought about it so that we can improve on it next year. This was only our 2nd anime convention and it was amazing especially considering who we are and what we have to work with. We are definitely going to have another one next year :lovin: because this one was a huge success and was at least 3-4 times better then last year. Well, after winning cvs2, the guy who ran the brackets said there was no cash given to him to hand out as prizes, and judging from the fact that he was running EVERY tournament, I figured he knew what he was talking about. He said he had handed out no cash for any tournament thus far, and as far as he knew there was supposed to be a cash prize. I didn’t want to try and track down anyone else behind the counter there, as the few people I had talked to didn’t seem to know anything about the running of the con.
