Also, we can see you real name.
That’s an Internet no-no.
Its not the way my name is spelled and ill probably be getting a new bank account soon. YOLO. Everybody on my Facebook sees my name any way.
@Onyx, at the Best Buy in Germantown, MD. They had 6 more Day Ones left.
Yeah didn’t want to order online and some weird shit happens where its not there. Just buy it, hopefully my TE2 is there at the door on the same day, download the game. Definitely taking like 2 days off easy.

I planing on taking days of as well man i cant blame you there. Im hoping madcatz makes a fightpad for XB1 id rather not relearn a stick if i have the choice.
Just FYI.
You can play while you download on both next gen consoles. So, digital libraries are more convenient than ever.

My concern with all digital, besides the ‘rights’ aspect - simply storage, since getting PS+, I’ve destroyed the storage space on my PS3…most of it more than likely being Uncharted 3 granted…
And while M$ is letting us just plug a USB drive in (apparently, though that sounds like it makes thinks to easy to rip/copy/hack/etc) that’s going to get old quick., especially talking the ‘life’ of a console.
So tempting since during the holidays I’ll be back in MD since the fam is there, but I doubt I can pre-order over the phone.
Anybody else notice Sabrewulf’s more “rabid” look? Is that a rework of his primary skin or a new one?
Perhaps he just got some touch ups. I know Glacius did. For instance, before the Gamescom build in his intro animation, the water on his legs would pop in magically whereas now they’re just on when he raises out of the floor. His face was slightly changed too.
I wish Microsoft gave double helix more time to build the game. I just think of all the people in those offices that are working triple overtime just to make sure that the engine is solid enough to release.
Like Microsoft wants that. They’re smart enough here. They want this shit out and they’re banking on it being a fighting game MOBA where people just buy into the constantly releasing and changing stuff over time. More exciting launch titles is their main thing over 4 at this point.
This all became a big crunch because Microsoft told them mid development to change from making it for 360 and instead work to make their killer app for the new system.
So, I just pick up my car from the shop (getting an upgrade to the exhaust) and figured, what the hell, I’m already hemmiraging money today, and went ahead and bought an Xbox.
I don’t want to play catchup to DJ.
Loving the new Tooth and Claw <3
It has less to do with time vs team size.
How good would a big team be over a multi-year project vs a small one? Less cooks in the kitchen, less turnover if the project isn’t a hot product. (Which could make it stale) also long term revenue won’t justify the short term cost. The way this project is being done is very good in concept. Gives reasons for people to come back and over time the size of the game can balloon.
If it turns out to become a huge success, they can scale to increase their output if necessary. The part that takes a long time if going to be asset. Balancing is another so you can’t just shit out characters every other week at ease.
I knew id convert somebody. You were already on the edge as it was. TBH I thought this would be the last game you’d get into since it comes from my old man cheesy get in people’s face with flashy stuff days. I just figured as well as yourself that they would go for a more balanced take while still retaining the flash and that’s what they’ve done. Plus it has all of the attention to feature detail of an indie fighter while having a more prestigious history and stronger fanbase released from dormancy.
Need more theoretical people unlocking this game. Got a main character yet or you gonna play around the cast a bit?
Glacius looks the most interesting.
Also, at the risk of bragging, $500 isn’t really a massive amount of money to me.
Its funny cuz the other guy in the Xbox thread was saying how nobody has 500 dollars to spend. I spend money very rarely on games since I’m pretty much just a fighting gamer and just go to tournaments. Not buying a library of 60 dollar games all of the time where this would be out of the question for me.
