Another thing about the trailer no on was discussing. How much dialog and story content their was. We were threatened with a significantly expanded arcade mode in the past by DH, maybe IG is going to deliver it.
Yeah definitely this trailer was really heavy on the story, which made the complete lack of facial animation even more jarring than usual. I mean his eyes… they all have doll eyes that never move…
Well, it felt like narration to me. As in, the lack of facial animation didn’t stand out.
I will say, Combo’s model looks dull… but we’ve seen changes to models pre-launch before.
BTW any of you guys using converters for your PS3/XB360 sticks on XBone? I might be picking up an Xbone soon and I don’t feel like buying a new stick.
Nope, I’ve heard mixed things about some of them though. But if you find one that’s solid let me know. I would like a second stick for KI.
Some people mentioned cronusmax but I haven’t found any reliable reviews…
EDIT: Ok watched/read a few reviews and cronusmax seems like a good product…
I’ve read reports that Cronusmax triggers input lag, so I’m hesitant to drop the cash. My choices are to either dual-mod my 360/PS3 stick, or wait for another run of KI TE2s.
The end of that TJ Combo trailer… You just know it’s cinder causing all that mean glow!

Cronusmax is fine if you just play casually and dont go to tourneys. If you plan on going to a tourney you are best off looking for someone to mod your stick or buy an official stick. If you go to an east coast major Gummo is usually there. If you bring your Xbox One controller and your arcade stick he can dual mod it for 60 bucks. Basically pay 25 percent of the cost of a TE2.

Played TJ Combo. So fun with his sways and he comes back from life if you don’t use his instinct!!!
I wonder how much life he gets back when this is used.
I wonder if it’s like gill’s resurrection, so you can stop it or will be a default amount of health.

TJ Gill must still have the nanomachines. Would explain resurrection and why his scars glow when powered up.

I wish they could have demonstrated more of the character, than making chit-chat with someone who just appeared out of nowhere. Terrible demonstration.
