Let’s be real - true disconnects happen very rarely. That said, I’d be 100% perfectly happy with them simply giving me a loss anytime my connection disconnects. It shouldn’t make my opponent not get points for me disconnecting, regardless of it being a ragequit or not.
And if you are having frequent disconnects, then you got bigger problems and probably shouldn’t be playing online.
I still think their solution is just alright. I feel the 15% is pretty high and should be lowered to like 5 or 7 percent. I mean since launch I’ve had like 2 legitimate disconnects, and they weren’t when i had 5% health left and my opponent was still on their first life bar. They could easily label the dc as a “ragequit” based upon the health of both players in the game at the time of disconnect.
Personally, could care less for the rage quit patch now. They already threw. in a patch where now you are only matched with ranks a couple or a few below you. Which means it now takes longer to find matches in ranked and you regularly are fighting the same person over and over like a makeshift exhibition. Only the low ranks are really going to have a pool of other low ranks to fights. Disconnects are going to be rare now since now that it takes longer to find matches, no ones gonna wanna risk going to jail and further adding to their wait times and accrue extra losses.

Fuccckkkiinng FULGORE! My favorite is back. The new Fulgore has a cybernetic body straight out of the T800 or some Michael Bay shit. The new energy claws are beaming with moving energy just like I thought they would. His ponytail looks like its made of energy also which makes more sense. Sexiest robot I’ve ever seen in a fighting game.

After reading about this on the DH forums this morning i went home for my lunch break to see just how bad it was. I played 3 different people over the course of an hour and 20 minutes and we played 3-4 times in a row. One of the guys started to drop at the matchup screen because he didnt wanna play me anymore and i stayrted thinking holy shit i hope someone else my level is on right now. The overall wait times were definitely 300-600% longer, and there were 2 times where i waited for 10 -15 minutes. They need to fix or finish updating that patch with the spinal release tomorrow, because i was really starting to get sick of listening to that guitar solo.
I think the ranked system they had before was just fine. If you play a high ass ranked guy and lose, you hardly lose any points. Same with him when he wins, he hardly gets any. And if you win, you get a ton of points and he loses a lot. I think that is actually perfect and it shows people’s true ranks pretty well IMO. Come on DH stop fucking up things.
