Yo Check This Out, Trailblazer and The Instinct
Glacius’ theme was my favorite, but wasn’t a fan of the Killer Cuts mix.
The entire CD is one of the finest in VG Music, but my personal favorites are The Way U Move (THIS BEAT IS RARE!), K.I. Feeling, The Instinct, Ya Ha Haa & Rumble.
The Way You Move and whatever the name of Jago’s remixed theme was were my favorites.
Wait Riptor was a chick? Huh?
Now if this is an excuse to make the ‘new’ Riptor even more buff and bigger, I’m OK with that.
In terms of cast size, with the depth some of the characters could possibly reach, I’m fine with 8-10 to start. Spinal/Fulgore, Cinder/Glacius, Orchid/Jago, Saberwolf/Riptor, Thunder/TJ Combo
If they are doing their triangle of Keep away, rush down, and grappler…my assumptions would be something like
Long Range - Glacius/Fulgore
Rush Down - Saberwolf/Riptor
Grappler/Melee - Thunder/TJ Combo
LR/Rush - Jago/Orchid
LR/Grap - Spinal
Rush/Grap - Cinder

Strange choice to have a fighting game be the freebie Micro$oft gives away. Guarantee you that the number of scrubs online are going to be MASSIVE.
Anyone else wonder how Spinal’s looks can change? I mean he’s just a skeleton, what else could you possibly change?
Make him wear a Mary Poppins dress. I wouldn’t mind if they got rid of his Ryu bandanna either. Looks out of place.
That’s how it worked for SFIV. Like Arturo said, you gotta have the scrubs to make the game. LoL is full of scrubs just trying to immitate what the big boys do and keep spending money or generally playing. We need another fighting game that doesn’t become a ghost town 4 months in online and stays marketable over a long period of time.
They can change his ‘armor’ and his ‘shield’. The headband should stay though…just for nostalgic purposes.

More scrubs is actually a good thing.
they seriously need to release another character or two at this point IMO.
I guess I’m an elitist when it comes to online. I’d rather play 20 dudes who know what they’re doing and can give me a run for my money than 200 dudes who mash and I beat with basic shit or by blocking and punishing.
Hopefully, matchmaking will take care of that.
Keep in mind Capcom matchmaking is awful, and most other FGs do a much better job.

Keepaway - Glacius/Spinal
Rushdown - Sabrewulf/Combo/Riptor
Grappler - Thunder/Fulgore
Hybrid - Jago/Orchid/Cinder
You can always just find people to put on your friends list. More scrubs means more chance that one of them will see the light and work to be a strong player. Someone will most likely do a 24/7 stream where people get in a lobby and play against the best also.
You’re not going to get more elite people or people to play in general if less people are playing, that’s for sure. Going to tournaments is the best way to train any way. Otherwise just find the good players lobby or get them on your FL.

Seeing that list above and seeing Fulgore as a grappler, that just made me realize that I cannot WAIT to see how he comes over to this game. I can’t wait to see how his uppercut translates into this game and how his slicing slide move comes over. Hopefully he is a boss in this game. And I hope Combo is also in this game.
Damnit I can’t believe it’s only just August. At least we have football starting soon to keep busy until this comes out.
I just found it strange that they didn’t go for a unigender dinosaur. It does make me wonder how she breeded. That and the muscle build threw me off guard.
My music was: the instinct, let’s do it now and tooth and claw. But I loved controlling transmission and trailblazer. That guitar riff.
I will deck main Sabre and riptor. I just have to for old times sake.

Maybe they took the whole “female dinosaur” thing from Jurassic Park too, since this game came out a couple years after Jurassic Park was already a smash hit.
all of the dinos in jurassic park were female, and jp is probably what inspired the dinosaur characters in games in the 90s. it would take some serious creativity to make a dino fit in a fighting game in 2013 without looking hilariously awkward. werewolves are pretty fashionable right now in other forms of media, but i haven’t seen a non-humorous dino in a video game in a long time. if i didn’t know so many people wanted riptor, i would’ve been fine with her (that does sound weird) getting the boot. you can moderize the concepts of maya, spinal, cinder, etc., but how can you make a dinosaur fit?
i was reading some complaints about glacius’s redesign in dh’s forums. fuck that. old glacius made no sense. dude had NIPPLES. why would a non-mammal on EARTH need nipples, nevermind an alien from a distant planet. props to dh for trying to make something valid out of so much of the original nonsense. i say they retcon the old story and say that old glacius was a bodybuilder they accidentally left on that cold planet. and then he lost several digits because of gangrene.
