The old designs weren’t gdlk to begin with IMO. I liked the old KIs because they were really fun, but as far as character designs went I feel Eternal Champions did a better job easily as far as US fighting games went.
The new designs give the characters the seriousness I always felt they should have.

The Ki2 designs were much better than the originals (for Orchid, Spinal and Jago) but it think this Orchid skin is good. The people that were crying about the redesigns will be pleased…Whats cool is the that the originals have their own accessories so you cold potentially get KI 1&2 outfits that way. Fulgore isn’t even out yet and im more interested in his alts and accessories, i want those predator dreds!!!
I’m glad that they based the throwback costume primarily on the KI1 version. Much less sexist and exploitative, which is good. I just hope they can tone down the glow and polish her hair a bit.
Lets not pretend for 1 momment that orchids ass wasnt 1 of the main reasons she still remained popular years after KI went under. It’s like saying Mai’s tits don’t have anything to do with her popularity…ignoring the sex appeal and going with a hype conservative look just defeats the purpose of the original look.
Wasn’t really sexist or exploitative though, it was just a reproductive of the extreme mindset of its time. A outfit deigned to capture the classic "tone"but ignoring the cheesecake aspect just defeats the purpose. I don’t mind most of DH’s redesigns but fucking up her classic look which is suppose to intentionally be sexy just doesn’t make sense.
That can be fine with the new default looks but I think the classic looks should have been the exceptional since they are after all classic. Again if DH wants to go all PC and social warrior with the new looks then its their choice but I just don’t want them to apply that philosophy to the old looks…at least respect they could respect the fact that some people like the cheesy 90s look.

Wow, Orchid’s classic costume is pretty underwhelming, but the 'murrica version is just awful.
They shoulda used her KI2 costume, it was way better. They could have made her ass hang out a little less, but left everything else the same.
Now I’m nervous to see Glacius’ classic costume. I can’t imagine them pulling that off without making him look weird.

Yeah, I didn’t notice any lag as well. Games like AE or Marvel would be a lag fest over that distance but this went smooth :tup:

If they are just going to put a skin over Glacius’ new character model I doubt it’s going to look very good. The new Glacius is taller and lankier and more like a District 9 alien. Old Glacius (especially if they’re using the KI2 one) was shorter and stockier. Not sure how that’s gonna go.
They will have Glacius’ E3 trailer look.

I doubt it. That was clearly an unfinished Glacius. See how his intro pose was missing so much animation, they had to cut it up with the editing.
