Besides Cinder’s storyline has nothing to do with radioactivity anyways. He’s the result of a chemical accident. They make no mention of radioactivity.

I was just thinking about Spinal, and it would be a neat twist if his Instinct mode was just the Instinct mode of his opponent. Obviously if it was Spinal vs. Spinal they would have to have their own instinct mode though. I don’t think that will be the case at all but thought it would be a neat little twist on the Instinct mode.

I also hope the cat isn’t ONLY available in Orchid’s instinct mode. I know they haven’t hinted at anything like that, but it’s just a thought I had. It is odd though that in her teaser, the cat was another actual physical character, whereas in the past she turned into the cat for a special move. I’m very curious how it is going to play out.

Exactly. There are so many contrived explanations to why this is Cinder. But why would they bother to do that? If they wanted to make an emblem for Cinder, it would be something very obvious and based on flames.

They’re both about as important as each other. One is a cyborg predator and the other is a man on fire. Both are going to have more potential to carry season 1 than Combo or Riptor so I feel they can go either way. Someones going to have to wait, but the other can easily carry the season.

Not necessarily. With the structure they’re implementing with this game, early adopters of the Xbone are going to have KI in some shape or form so getting S1 out into the masses shouldn’t be much of a problem. Since they want this game to be a continually evolving product, what better way to help build up hype and drive than to hold back one of the top fan favourites until the next season. People were screaming for Orchid and they got her, Spinal has a large following and he’s all but confirmed for this season at this point. The only character left that’s really getting people riled up is Fulgore.

I don’t think that’s what his symbol is. It looks like the representation of a water molecule (an oxygen atom and two hydrogen atoms). At any rate he is not a snowflake, he’s made of water in both liquid and solid form.

I’m bummed that Madcatz hasn’t mentioned anything about a 6button fight pad. Not looking forward to using the standard XBONE controller for god knows how long, i hope some1 provides an option for us next-gen pad warriors soon. Or maybe a converter will come out soon.

@onyx, yeah hopefully eventually. Its just among hardcore fighting gamers, stick is preferred so they’re probably just trying to get that underway first before they try anything different.

Filthierich just mentioned that in the near future he’ll be setting up his own stream for Killer Instinct.
