Sadira looks FUCKING GODLIKE. WOW, I’ve only watched about 30 minutes of the Microsoft Studios stream featuring KI and I am already sold on this character. She is EVERYTHING Spider-Man in UMvC 3 should have been but isn’t. She is definitely much more mobile and has a lot more mix up potential than Peter Parker does in Marvel 3. DH looks like they’ve utilized her web in a much more unique and logical way than Capcom did w/ Spider-Man. And as I was writing this, I missed her ultra. DAMNIT. Oh well, I’m pretty sure they’ll show it again. I am HYPED.
Dear God, Sadira just bullies Glacius when he’s in the corner.
Her damage will definitely be nerfed. Her combo where she uses her Shadow Backflips into her Shadow Air move is only 11 hits but takes off 35%. Yeah, I know thats 2 bars, but that just seems ridiculous.

Looks like you may be right about that, it was’nt her win screen… Unless thats some story mode shit they were showing, its gotta be some kind of stage fatality/ no mercy.

I understand what they did and why they did…but none of my old school favs short of ScrubWolf made the initial roster, no Riptor, no Fulgore, no Spinal, and I can take or leave Combo/Cinder.
On the plus side though I do have a nice ‘group’ of characters who I will like - I’m more than likely maining Thunder with Glacius as a secondary and Sadira as my play around and style character…so I’m ‘alright’
But inside the little kid in me is crying a bit. I just need to focus on “half screen throw range” and I’ll make it thru to season 2.

lol @ you guys thinking there would be no Orchid in S1. 1 female character in a 6 character fighting game, who’s also brand new and not one of the original females doesn’t make any sense. I told ya.

There is some irony in the fact that Orchid is arguably now the most conservatively dressed of all the characters…
She always was.
She had a skin tight outfit but there wasn’t a lot of bare skin exposed…unlike jago or chief thunder lol.
Sadira does look quite nice without that veil.
And I hope that giant-ass spider is part of a No-Mercy, or at the very LEAST signify a return of the stage fatalities.
And Orchid…be funny and **awesome **if she became a Stand-user on top of her usual moveset.

Just as a note. They have said that the veiled character in the Thunder trailer, was not actually Sadira and that there were plot reasons for her look-alike minions.
This also makes me wonder if story mode will be more extensive than is standard for a fighting game.

Sadira is exxxactly my type of character. Jump cancels for Instinct and the air knives. Its like viper, juri, ibuki and some new shit all rolled in one.
Then just like i said, Orchid gets her ass in there. Shes a little lighter skinned than i figured, but yeah. Fuucccck.
Im still set on maining Glacius since ive been looking to play a less crazy character for once. Plus he seems better to learn the game’s fundamentals with.
I don’t think you could get any more extensive than MK9.
And I’m loving her color palettes so far. The Bride (white) being my favorite.
It’s just a feeling I get judging by how they were talking about it.
Could be a total misread too.
