hm, okay. For some reason I couldn’t cross up the Ryu dummy when he was standing when I put him in the corner, kept staying on the same side. Doesn’t matter so much tho, everyone gets crossed up on knockdown anyway.

You can crossup a lot of character with this, and can be safe even against good reversal like yun or blanka. It can be stuffed but you have to be like no guard un order to stuff this setup.
I would test with L and M Upkicks as well. The 1.04 patch stealth nerfed EX Upkicks a bit. See, the buff it got was that it rises slower so that it would beat lows more consistently, but this also makes it worse as an anti-crossup.
I also tested it dont worry it doesnt work.

I am actually starting to not mind that match as honda so much. but when i come up against honda i like to use decapre. its probably more the fact that I just hate mirrors.
Yeah he used honda, i just messed up too much. I had played a bunch of times in ranked last week and I didn’t drop a game. I just didn’t stay patient, and dropped some very important combos.
Yeah I find the matches that are bad for are really not too terrible if you are just play patient.
I try this with Bison and it’s just “well now I got nothin”. Been trying to figure it out and all I can come up with is high damage combos when he misses something.
This is reassuring cause I’ve been struggling against honda.
Blocking hands is one of the few things u2 can punish easily in this game with honda. That being said you do it far enough away you can make it whiff (cr mk xx lp hands)

i would say guile is a pretty good 2nd, hes good against grapplers, balrog, and bison. that’s basically all decapre’s bad matchups.
New patch tomorrow 1.05 has a change for Decapre.
Now she has to charge downback to activate the anti-air version of DCM again.
Yeah I saw that, she was the only change in the game. I can’t believe that patch was essentially a omega patch. Why waste time on that rather than address other issues.
Given how Capcom fucked up last time because they can’t even manage basic elements of version control I think what you mean to say is “Hopefully that’s the only change in the game” as I don’t know about you but I’d rather not deal with unannounced and unnecessary combo fucking charge time changes again because someone at Capcom had their thumb up their ass when they pressed ‘Submit Patch’ .
