some characters get hit differently depending on version.

so say i do lp hands on character a and hold up forward, jumpin might whiff or hit. hp hands might be the same, might be different. It’s something people will have to chart out. sometimes it’s a 4f safejump, sometimes it’s not, etc.

Malvadisco, when neutral jumping, I think her mk is probably her best air to air unless they are more above you than to the side.

and nj.hk is actually pretty damn good too it feels even better than nj.hp wich is sad because i love that move

so i just played a guy called brokenjp. he did hk scramble into air spiral . thought it was pretty cool.

so instant air spiral huh… which versions do what, or is the usage really limited to ex

air spiral definitely works from hk scramble

i’ve only managed to get hk ia spiral + on block, from about 3/4 screen away. The other two non-ex versions seems to be even or about -1. Haven’t mucked about with ex much yet

I saw K Brad do it on the FGTV stream… Tried it online against a guy on my friends list and it wouldn’t come out lol… Gonna practice it in training mode.

On the topic of the Scramble > Ground Pound abuse… That shit needs to stop. Not only is it easy as hell to block, it’s pretty damn unsafe on block. IMO, don’t throw it out too much in mixups unless you have meter to make it safe.

Is it okay to keep burning meter because, well she can scratch her (cute little) ass and still get a combo to U2. Or is it something to save for stuff like FADC to airthrow or what have you?

Well, outside of FADC, the only thing you’re going to really be burning meter on is EX Scramble with the occasional IA EX Spiral Arrow.

It depends on your playstyle, IMO… If you’re someone that likes to play the poking game, you may want to save your meter for LP Rapid Dagger xx RFA combos. If you like mixups and applying heavy pressure, save it for EX Scramble and FADCing HP/EX Breaks. Stinger xx FADC, Air Throw is something you’re going to do if/when it’s available to you… No point in saving meter specifically for that when you can use it better in other places.

I’m about to sound real scrub for a moment. I for the life of me can’t get spiral arrow to come out. And I’ve input the commands correctly. It just…does not come out.
