I hope you are right.
I would love an XBL version of KI1/2/Gold. Online play would be great.
I don’t know how well KI3 would work, but if done right, it would be awesome as well. But Rare hasn’t done much right in a while. >_<
Were there ever any decent commercially available arcade sticks for the N64? 'cause trying to do any sort of combos on the N64 quickly ruined KI Gold for me.

Rare made a comment recently that they’re “…resurrecting a legendary fighting franchise.” Take that with a grain of salt though. It could never come to fruition or it could end up playing like shit. I am still surprised they haven’t closed down that studio yet with the numerous disappointments they’ve given MS.
not that i know of, but I never had a problem with the combos. If I needed to do a complicated motion (QCB, HCF) I just used the joystick in the middle real quick.
I was raised on dpads, and the N64 dpad isn’t that bad. When KIG first came out, I was doing just fine with it.
same here, although I can also use the joystick.
Today is the last day of the month. We should know soon. If not then Rare…
KI:3 doesn’t matter unless they bring back Riptor! :nunchuck:
and Cinder and Thunder
I actually enjoyed KI Gold back in the day.
But really at times it was indeed too ugly, I remember the ugly ass pit stage that would occasionally go flat when you did a stage fatality and you character would just be standing over its image… They’d probably would have fared better doing a remake of KI1 and like Capcom throwing in the KI2 characters as a bonus, but you can tell the crew at Rare where apparently tired of the franchise at that point anyway.
oh well. I care more about the gameplay than how a stage looks. Yeah its nice that the arcade version makes it look better but it it adds VERY little to the fighting.
