I am sure not all USB adapters are built the same. If they don’t work 100%, not much to lose here. Once they arrive, we can mess around and toss the PS3 into the big showcase cab see how things look. It sort of defeats the purpose though. All the HD glory will be lost. None of the cabs at KS2 can handle HD resolutions. That just means the next cab at KS2 will be built around at least 42" plasma :wgrin:!

would your cabinet’s monitor be able to run in 1080p and other high def resolutions? just wondering if it could handle it because t5dr on ps3 is 1080p native i think and it made me wonder if there would be any sort of lag due to the monitor not being able to run at such resolutions therefore possibly having to scale the picture some way causing some kind of processing lag. sorry if it’s a stupid question.

monitors don’t have any sort of scaling lag, since they don’t actually scale if it’s truly a monitor. If it’s a big LCD it won’t lag either; the lag is mainly those nice looking(but weak for games) DLP televisions.
