All I am doing is looking for a challenge, donāt tell me you are butt hurt like everyone else when have owned them with CE Guile and then just quit playing SF2(players seem to vanish after I beat them at San Jose Golf Land, I might as be claimed as the top SF2 player in San Jose other than John Choi. Tournament or no Tournament Iāll put money down as a bet for any challenge on SF2 AE or any other SF2 game. I am sure money is a good enough insentive to play.

whoaā¦I didnāt know SF2 fanatics still exist. I personally donāt think you can compare yourself to Choi and call yourself a top SF2 player since you werenāt able to broaden your interest in anything after CE. What exactly are you trying to prove in a game that no one plays anymore? And have you even considered giving the new school games a chance? I want to be able to hear your feedbacks about the new school games rather than just spewing up SF2 money matches in all your threads that no one replies to. I think all of us want to know why youāre still dedicated to SF2:CE after all these years. Maybe thatāll be our insentive to play you rather than money.
I used to compete at CVS2 at SVGL back when it came out, however I could never improve at that game. One day there happened to a ST tournament at Golf Land, Once I played it I got addicted to it. I practiced both games against top players; however, ST was the only game I getting better and better at. The more I played against Jason Nelson, and other good players the better I got, until I could hold my own against the pros.
To answer your other question, I started to play SF2 CE because of all the old stories about Thomas Osakiās Guile being perfect. I got Hyped and absesed of the idea that maybe if I practiced well enough with Guile, I could become maybe compared, but obviously I was just living a pipe dream. Iāll still play STā¦
ST is still pretty popular and maybe AE. If youāre just playing CE, a lot of people simply donāt want to downgrade that far into the series. Most of us will just play it for novelty purposes like me and my cousin. Him and I still play ALL the old school SF in their separate game at home on MAME. For some reason, I donāt like AEās gameplay, but I would like it to be included at Evo just so we can see how each version compare.
I donāt know much about Thomas Osaki but from what I researched about him, he is a legend. We all have our SF idols that we want to be compared with so I donāt think youāre living a pipe dream since I can see that youāre a really dedicated SF player just like the rest of us. For Albert not allowing you to host SF2 tourneys at his pad, he doesnāt mean any direspect to you and the game. Heās just thinking what would be in the best interest for other people.
