i dont think i ever met young, he might have been by when we throw the partys and play st and 3s, but i cant remember.

Do you live in Louisville? I can’t travel much, being 17 and all, but I live close enough to Louisville to play. I’m in school, but if I don’t work next weekend, I might be able to play.
Also, a question for you guys, do you all play on arcade sticks or controllers? I have a hard time being consistent on pulling off specials with a D-pad. Plus, Arcana Heart you have to pull of a 360 or 720 spin for some specials. I have a GGXX custom fighter stick, but I don’t know if it works well…I haven’t used sticks that much, so I don’t know if it sucks, or if I do. I’d like to get together sometime soon though. Maybe next weekend.

You want to get together and play sometime. I’d have to bribe my parents to let me go to Lexington. I turn 18 in just over a month anyway.
I use stick, so do most players. Practice both stick and pad to see what each one feels like, then use whatever works best for you.
As for being able to pull off specials/supers/combos consistently, keep practicing and eventually you’ll get it. Whether you use pad or stick it’s a nice idea to use the key display to see what you’re doing wrong.
lol… just tell them you’re traveling for a good cause.
As long as you drive safe and don’t do anything crazy there shouldn’t be any problem traveling around the state.
i use a stick, but i just sold 2 of mine and all i got is empty boxes, so i havent played in a week and a half or so. need to toss some buttons in these boxes.
next weekend sounds good, we might play at my crib or my buddys house.

I have my GGXX fighter stick, maybe one of you could play on it and see if it works well or not. I don’t want to get used to using a bad stick. I hear a lot of people won’t use them because they get stuck with a crappy one.
this is SaDo, i customize my own sticks, and end up selling because people are willing to pay too much for em. bring your stick buy ill try it out for you, im not saying im a expert or nothing.

Ya, Louisville scene is weak. There are players, but like I’ve said many times before, they don’t care about going to tournaments, or getting better. Usually just for fun.
