It’ll all depend on turnout and how much room I have. I’ll only be guaranteeing setups and potential awards for UMvC3 though. There should be room for casuals in other games as long as people bring setups. Unless we can grow the Lex scene I don’t see time/room constraints expanding to accommodating more games. I am considering promoting KOF13 though. If you want more info join the Lexington Street Fighters group on facebook.

I would love to see KOF blow up again. Miss the heyday of Kentucky Arcade KOF. I’ve been playing 3rd Strike and I’m trying to back into VSAV.

[LEFT]It’s time to get this Marvel hype train started. The first ever Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 Lexington Ranbats will be held tentatively from 1pm on Saturday, Dec. 3rd. [/LEFT]

[LEFT]Games: Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3, Super Street Fighter AE, King of Fighter XIII[/LEFT]

[LEFT]You may have never attended a ranbat before or just have no clue how they are run. Ranbat is short for “Ranking Battle.” These are basically small tournaments where you are awarded points depending on how well you place. After a season of ranking battles the winners are those who accumulate the most points. [/LEFT]
[LEFT]Points are awarded as follows.[/LEFT]

[LEFT]1st - 8 points[/LEFT]
[LEFT]2nd - 7 [/LEFT]
[LEFT]3rd - 6 [/LEFT]
[LEFT]4th - 5 [/LEFT]
[LEFT]5th - 4 [/LEFT]
[LEFT]7th - 3[/LEFT]
[LEFT]9th - 2 [/LEFT]
[LEFT]13th and below 1[/LEFT]

Sorry for the noobish first post, but I figured at location based one would be the most effective rather than laming out in a “help me!” thread.

Just wanted to throw my GT out there and maybe get some more friends for some online UMvC3 or SF4:AE games. I’m really the only one in my friend group that isn’t addicted to MW3 or some other such nonsense and I’m trying to get my skills going. I just picked up UMvC3 and having a hard time picking it up. Also, I definitely want to get more active in the community at large and starting close to home is the best way to do that, I suppose.

GT: mM hurrrricane (that’s 4 Rs) for XBL.

Right now, I’m just looking to get in, be a part of the community, and see what I can do in these games with other players close by. Just shoot me an invite on XBL and we’ll get some games (you’ll win).

I’ll part with a question, what are some facebook groups I should join, locations to haunt so that I can get in and get fightin’ with you guys?
