allow me to elaborate on that. im just sayin for the most part tho people cant wrap their head around marvel because alot of the oldschool good players around here doesnt play because sf4 is so new user friendly at the expense of the gameplay and by the time marvel 3 came around they were already like “fuck it”. plus marvel3 is super watered down and ‘easy to do everything’ unlike marvel2, but it still has the core element of mvc2, some people just hate it for scrubiness.
so the people playin marvel 3 now are sf4 players with an sf4 mentality who, unless they completely erased all they know about fighting games (which is sf4), would never be able to respect or fully comprehend a game like marvel 3. and im not saying that it would be impossible im saying they just dont put the smarts/ability to learn- behind it generated by true understanding of whats happenin and the meta game behind that. but they try to play it likes its sf4, slow paced question and answer shit. where in marvel 3 youll ask 3-4 questions while the initial question is still on the table. SEE?

+plus mvc3 was allowed at evo to be on playstation, despite that version being what i would call ‘less than tournament quality’, by all these people playin this shit around the world with very few even sayin WhatthehellWHY? to it, and that shows you how much respect these sf4 chumps have for actual fighting games. the majority just play that shit on a laggy hdtv with a controller, they dont know the difference. plus evo had a chance to capitalize by signing a contract with sony to use PS3’s, shitty quality for fighting games or not, kinda like how mk9 bought a spot in EVO’s main lineup 6 months before it even came out, but thats a whole other smack in the face to fatten over pockets. and i hate xbox and PS3 both so dont hit me with some fanboy shit, i own 2 games on xbox mvc3 and regular sf4, and xbox is a cheap piece of shit, but at least marvel runs 100% correctly on it. how many people you think play marvel and arcade sf4 edition on ps3 just because thats what evo-world is on… evo tournament season anyone… weather they suck and they know it or not…

I see your point Mr.Ramsey. Personally I play what I like and I’ll play anything. I’m not claiming to be good at anything, hell Ray and Chase can vouch for that but I’m willing to learn. Fuck I LOVE to watch Marvel, I love the hype but I don’t know to claim a damn thing about the game. I want to learn though. Honestly, I’m really in love with SF4 right now and I won’t even front. I fucking hated that game when it first came out, then Super came out and grew on me. Hell I was playing the old school shit back when we was in drought but I was never good. I want to get better though, but my game of choice is SF4 and I know most don’t wanna play that (unless there are more people asides from Kinder then please me know!) Hell I got a friend who is pretty damn good at Tekken and no one play. It’s a shame too, he’s coming out of retirement and everything. I digress.
When I get a system again I’d love to get some games in and again if I’ve disrespected someone in my past couple of post my fault I didn’t mean to come off as rude. Just in a FML kinda mood right now.

plus that was directed at no individual im just talkin about the majority in a general sense. jake and his buddy in bowling green are stupid good plus ciecel and big jon + a few other like chris are also on a solid level here in louisville. and i know it s been a long while since we played (probably tht tourny in ohio in like may) but you always showed skills and understanding in marvel with a willingness to hear and use advice or learn from a win/loss. but like i said above its not impossible for people introduced to fighting games by sf4 to be on the level, its just not likely.

been a long time since ive posted on this shizz. hey gaiz im jordon. i used to play alot of ssf4 until they stopped our bgm tourneys =[. people got tired of losing money every week and seeing the same faces in top 4. i won like 8 months in a row, and now i only play local. im above average at mke (game is soooooooooo easy and people still are soooooooo bad), and i can play mvc3 but i dont really play any fighters too much anymore unless its local.
