Maybe seeing high level play like that will get Capcom to stop updating SF4 and give us a new Darkstalkers.

I just hope if they do make another one that they give it adequate attention instead of just throwing it together in hopes of making some quick cash, which is what it looks like they are doing with SFXT.
Only three days remain to pre-register for Ultimate Fighting Game Tournament 7, being held May 27th through 29th in Chicago IL. Those that pre-register will save money, and will have early access to their pool assignments! Thats right, early next week, you’ll be able to check your pool assignments online to see what time you play, who is in your pool, and to make sure that everything was entered correctly on our end (no missing games, no overlapping pools).

I’d like to see them do something a little more gothic to go with the dark feel of the series. Oil painting kind of stuff. BB art style is pretty sweet though.

Well the BB art has the properties to do the animation that Vampire series is know for I feel. Although that could be cool… I just don’t know how I’d feel about it over all. I hear oli painting and I think this really dark and goth art. Vampire has always had a dark feel but it’s also quite colorful which is one of it’s strong points I think

there is no venue fee, the entree is usually $5 per game, there wont be a need for setups but it wouldnt hurt to bring an extra copy of the games just in case.
about the DC controllers there is a few people that have DC’s so i was gonna see if they would bring their sticks and we could all just use those, or the dc controller if you play on pad.
Those Dreamcast pads look like a nightmare.
Hi sir. I’m excited to finally see an offline tournament in KY. I’ve been fiending for one for the better part of two years. I don’t know if it makes a difference or not, but if you do decide to run an MK9 tournament I would definitely make the drive from Lexington to Louisville, and I’d likely bring a friend or two with me.
Thanks for the reply. I don’t play. I was asking for my son Josh (Ragingraven) who is 15. He doesn’t play anything on dreamcast so he will just use his TE stick for 360. What type of monitors or tvs will you all use? Do you have any idea right now what kind of turnout you are expecting? We live in Knoxville and that is a bit of a drive. I just want to make sure that there will be a decent turnout for it.

there is going to be some MK9 players there for sure, if you all come out and there ends up not being an official MK9 tournament you would still have plenty of different people to play it with and could possibly run a side event or money matches with the local cats. come on out

im not sure on the brands of the monitors but ive played at the tournaments there before they seem legit, as in no input lag or very very little. i expect the turnout to be good but if i had to gaurantee an amount id say a minimum of 25 people

Hello, I am located in lexington KY, I play SSF4, BBCS, MvC3, and especially MK9. I am really looking for some training partners to work with. I also play tons of old fighters and even some obscure ones, but I really need some people to train with.
I’m hosting a gathering at my place Friday here in Lexington. Marvel will probably be the most heavily played, but MK, Super, ST, etc are all welcome and likely to get played.
