Hey guys, A.R.K. III (one of the largest fighting game tournaments in the South) is coming up on April 2nd at Conway Gaming Center in Conway, AR! We are expecting at least ~120 people at this tournament featuring games such as SSF4, Marvel Vs. Capcom 3, Arcana Heart 3, Blazblue: CS, Tekken 6, Melee, Brawl, Project: M, and more! We will have a recording station available for you to record whichever matches you deem necessary (just work it out with the station manager) as well as a stream station. ya theres people that show up on sunday and dont play in the tournament, just to watch or play friendly/money/practice matches.
and as far as other days, you can show up just about anytime that place is open and pay by the hour to play (i think its like 2 bucks an hour) i dont know the odds of you runnin into someone playin marvel 3 outside of the weekend tho

Saturdays we normally don’t start until noon-1. I’m down for games at my place mostly any time, You could probably talk me into some matches Friday night. I’m still in Atlanta from Final Round, spending a couple days down here with my parents but I’ll be back in Lex friday evening - I’ll let you know if im feeling up for it

Following up on Ailerus’ post; want to let everyone know that PowerUp 2011 pre-registration is now mandatory. If you don’t pre-register you won’t be allowed to play in official PU2011 tournaments. We’re doing this so brackets can be made and posted pre-event, making things run smoother for everyone. Hope to see you all there!

I’m new to the world of fighting games use to be only First person shooter player, but recently got converted to the world of fighting games and love it. I live in Lexington Kentucky and was wondering if there is a scene here in Lexington or a group of people who get together and play often so I can truly get into fighting games
