hey after reading this, a while back, and having ftk buffed in ae2012 ive been using it for some time now, it is a legit tactic and not a gimmick. here is what ive found so far, add it in to your game.

after the fp dp,ftk,cr.lk (if they don’t quick rise) n.j hk tatsu cross up, free combo

this gets them everytime, they see me jump and start a tatsu so they stand and block normally since this cross up is so ambigious because it crosses up on the last frame and hits on that frame and then you land immediatly. they have to be blocking cross up from the beginning to block it they can’t block it visually.

now if they want to dp it, they have to use a dp that is very vertical, like a lp srk because if its too horizontal, it will get kicked in the back of the head by the tatsu. its especially effective on guile, since if he wants to charge his flash kick, he wont quick rise, so when you do the n.j.hk tatsu, and he tries flashkicking it, he will miss and get hit by the tatsu, or he will whiff and you land and can walk and free combo him. backdashing gets owned by the tatsu. and if you mess up the timing by a little for the tatsu to cross up, it will hit frontal, and if you mess up after you have hit them with the cross up one a few times, it works out in your favor :smiley:
