Why don’t they use the st.hk combos after V-trigger activation in the videos? I have been playing in a beta 3 build cracked beta since beta 4 ended and so I don’t have any fancy stuff with the mk.tatsu.
It’s better now to use mk.tatsu? Didn’t try it during beta 4 because lack of time.
I have all of the basic info down for hit confirming, just having trouble finding all of the relevant damage numbers and stun numbers. I’ll get to work on it fully come tuesday when I can actually verify everything. Really wanna skip past the initial stuff and find some just frame things or just the fun stuff. Gonna use that video for damage numbers.

so people on ps4 can play ranked online 4 days before launch? how is this even fair? can you still stepkick into v-trigger, this was seriously the best addition in beta 4
While the restored juggles seem like relatively minor damage buffs at first glance, combined with the mk tatsu beta 4 buff, they are huge. Ken now has by far the most corner carry options in the game. If cr mp -> st lk -> mk tatsu -> ex srk works, Ken will be among the strongest characters in the game.
Sure, you will need to be patient till you manage to land that first hit, but when you do, the reward will be crazy since Ken has truly scary corner pressure.
Yes I know what you can do as an alternative. The thing was I had seen on a stream where someone was doing it in what was clearly the retail version because it was on a stage that was not in the beta. But I think it may have been off crush counter, I just wanted to see if they reverted it or if it was the same as Beta 3/4.
Worked in beta 4 but was character and position dependent. If you did it in the corner against Nash it wouldn’t work but midscreen it would. Wouldn’t work on Laura at all. The last hit of MK Tatsu in V-trigger doesn’t hit them away but more straight up which makes it sound like it is still beta 4 version, that difference in juggle made the combo work everywhere in v-trigger.
A lot of the MK Tatsu setups and stuff seem weird since it juggles different characters differently AND you have different juggle hurtboxes.
Anyone else just feel like Ken’s combo’s don’t deal much damage? They might actually deal really good damage it’s just that the pain happening on-screen doesn’t really translate well to the actual damage inflicted. It looks like it hurts a lot more than it really does is what I’m saying.
Who else is having problems sometimes with b.mp xx hado? Sometimes the hadouken doesn’t come out and sometimes I get the TC. Must be my shitty pad execution but if someone found a solid way of doing it please tell me =p
