ya guys think they should make his lk tatsu plus ?
ken seems like his pressure is fine as it is, giving him a blockstring ender thats plus on block seems uneccesary. but doesnt lk tatsu whiff on crouching opponents
I donāt even know the frame data but if you mean on block, naw thereās no need it seems entirely unnecessary. Letās focus on changing the things that seem like big parts of his gameplan, like the run or his poking ability. Mostly run though. Apart from that heās pretty damn solid.
Only Sak can have a tatsu that is safe or plus OK block

Played the latest build today at PSX and talking with Julio apparently Ken lost some of his stuff in V-Trigger.

Not going to lie Kenās V-trigger is probably the only reason he wasnāt garbage tier, you better have given him something significant to make up for that.

Funny thing is talking behind the scenes, I have on good authority Chun isnāt going to change despite multiple people realizing sheās real good and probably the best or one of the best so far. The dev team didnāt even realize how dumb she was until Crackfiend showed them.
I advise all of you to pick her up and fraud your way to a couple Month 1 tournament wins for the pot money before the rest of the world picks on :lol:

I have a hard time believing that they donāt know that. Especially after the Combofiend ( Karin ) Vs The Japanese battle designer fight ( Chun ) match. Speaking of that match, he also made Ken look solid. The only annoying part is that he didnāt use the V-skill at all. This does probably suggest that it is really really bad now.
Crackfiend said he specifically showed Combofiend how good she was. Still no dice. The build at PSX had everyone except F.A.N.G. which I assume means itās winding down development wise and nothing had changed much for her since beta 2. Other characters like Karin who I played all day were not different from the stress test a month ago despite being a different build with 2 more characters in the roster so things not changing shouldnāt be too hard to believe. And also again a few Capcom employees were local Norcal FGC players/friends before getting employed. Unofficially theyāve confirmed this in private convo.
Iām not a Ken player but IIRC he said that an old combo of attack, V-Trigger, Fierce, lk tatsu (or mk tatsu canāt remember which), DP, EX DP no longer worked. He tried it a couple times against me and couldnāt get it to work. Basically Iām assuming some of the juggle state properties or count on some of his V-Trigger attacks has changed so everything doesnāt hit any more. I donāt know what this means for his game in general if correct.

Combofiend has stated on multiple occasions that he has little say in the balancing process. Itās mostly handled by the Japanese dev team.
They either increased mp srk recovery, or removed juggle properties from ex srk. Both are serious damage nerfs for v-trigger activation and v-trigger mode combos.
Donāt know if I trust someone without training mode but an actually safe st. RH -3 or less would be really nice for Ken.
I really doubt that is the case. Currently, st RH is at least -5 on block and itās already a very good button due to range and OS v-skill && v-trigger potential.
