I dunno, between playing on CRT with the PS2 version, the arcade version, jumping to Widescreen Stretchy on an HDTV, running it on my 360 with AC…just got used to seeing the bar different sizes so it never bothered me that much.
If the matchmaking problems and the problems the op posted are fixed the game would be perfect. I only wonder if someone from capcom will read this? Maybe someone should paste it on unity.
Edit: Also why can I see only 8 games in player match and when I refresh I get the same exact games? This seriously sucks. Its like 24 people are playing this game in the whole world. And we need to have more search functions like searching by region etc.
The game seems to filter searches with your timezone. Filters a lot, cause switching to London timezone gives me players never seen before, and no more usual ones with my real timezone, even though it’s nearly the same (London vs Paris).

honest question. and this is not just directed at you, but to a lot of people that have been posting recently saying this game feels like the arcade.
I thought there was like only 5-6 arcades in all of america that had 3rd strike. now it seems like everyone has played it in arcade. where are all these secret 3rd strike cabs. i want to go!

There’s an arcade in Aurora, CO local mall. One of the few, one of the last. They have 3S, A3, CVS2, MVC, MVC2, CVS, SF4, KOFXI, SVC:Chaos, MSH, XMen Vs.SF, MSHvsSF, Tekken 3-5DR. Unfortunately their A2 board died.:sad:

I wish they brought the old hud back, overall this game is awesome but their is a few more things I would like to add…
-Hud like I said.
-Option for old menus/character select screen/etc? The new shit is too dark and depressing I miss the colorful red/orange/clashing colors and now we just have… gray.
- A better filter? The current ones look very… “muddy” on HD TV’s. Unless you own a ASUS its reaaaallly difficult to make the game look good in HD. Unless I am missing a legit way to configure the screen.
This is it though, the game itself is really great and I think it turned out solid. It just needs some fixes.
I don’t care about online so I guess thats why I don’t mind this game, in terms of a home/tournament port this game is a HUGE improvement.
Real talk i don’t care about Ryu’s bag, tho in principle I understand why people are complaining about it.
I don’t care about the training mode because from all the pre relese demos its obvious they copied n pasted the PS2 version.
But when Derek n co talk big game about how this game will have the best online and show Capcom of Japan how to step up their online game just lol. It blows my mind that I cant even filter player matches to only have people from my country or how ranked has no filters at all. Game has the best netcode with the worst search filters lol, Is Iron Galaxy gona make a nice house with a paper roof?
P.S. 90% (sum would say 100%) of the remix music is dub step influenced hot garbage.
How do I make the matchmaking process go by faster? I hate having to wait and watch that thing spin for upto 20 mins at a time. I literally smoke a bowl every time I enter ranked mode.
this port is an abomination. i think it’s a combination of inside jokes, easy money, and the folks behind this game going along with the rest of the 3s haters in this community in another attempt to sabotage the game in order to completely put 3s in the grave.
