Try using a QCF x2 motion instead of the normal Mist Step motion.

This helped a tonne. Have seen results within seconds of trying. I’ll grind from here to get it closer to 100%, but I can do the cancel with semi reliability now.

playin at casuals last night and found out the devastator can parry fb’s as well will test more but it worked like 3 times against my friends sim maybe something else idk but this could be strong i also started using the rising sun to go over the fireballs he threw at certain ranges to keep my distance when i had the life lead and to close distance over his cr. hp and punish bad fb’s it looks like the rising sun is actually a pretty solid move

I had a pretty good day yesterday with Kazuya/Rufus.

Found a nice little loop- there is a version of it midscreen but it requires to much meter, so its not worth it unless your in the corner:

Well your attitude is pretty bad but if it was a Kazuya chain blowing you up it probably was LP>MP>MK>LK

Found out Kazuya’s Alpha counter open’s enough space for you to avoid EX Messiah kick and get a full jump in punish. Shit’s godlike Lol

Yeah his Alpha Counter activates in 7 frames, and it’s invincible for 8. There are only a few characters that have a faster Alpha Counter.

Hehe, True, Flashy combos are nice too, And it’s cool how Kazuya kinda buries them in the ground only to have Akuma come in and smash them into it even more.

I’d like to clarify some stuff for the front page from the EWGF thread.

You CAN in fact preform the EWGF from a Mist Step. I confirmed it last night and uploaded videos showcasing it in action. You must preform the f,d/f+P (shortcut motion - http://i.imgur.com/qY1DO.jpg) command within the 34 frames that Mist Step is active which is definitely not easy but it is very possible and much easier from consecutive Mist Steps.

As you can see, EWGF has the properties to cancel Mist Step.

Also, the EWGF will negate projectiles. I’ll upload a video of that once I have another pair of hands to record for me, unless someone else would like to beat me to it.

I was wondering how i got that to come out, so no matter what you have to input that shortcut motion?
