Idk, I still feel that the untechable knockdown is more important. You give yourself more time to think about how you want to set up your okizeme, your opponent will be more scared when thinking about what to wake up on and can possibly second guess himself, AND you’re limiting the possible options for your opponent to wake up by just two situations: staying on the ground, or rolling.
I would rather give myself a 50/50 chance to guess right rather than 33% chance to guess.
Did anyone noticed kazuya launcher the opponent alot lower to the ground than other character? I tried Kazuya LMHH to sim in corner, its impossible to continu combo with dhalsim… Any trick?
Im having trouble doing dragon uppercut from cr.mp - cr.hp. I can do it from cr.hp but for some reason when I add the cr.mp behind the cr.hp it doesn’t come out.
You just need to mentally slow down when you’re trying to do this. You may just be building up the intensity in your mind, which is making yourself nervous to do the dragon uppercut. Just work it slow, and then gradually build up the speed till you can get it consistently.
Make sure you are letting the cr.MP finish entirely, too. If you are accidentally chaining the MP into HP you can’t cancel into the mist step even if you are getting the motion right.
Basically yeah, you can’t cancel into non-EX special moves out of a magic series chain. It’s especially easy in a juggle, you should have plenty of time once you get used to it.

works on medium to higher hitboxes (examples, barlog, sagat, geif, hugo,king,marduk,vega,nina…etc)
1- Re stand qcb+hk in a combo.
in any juggle, if u finished with qcb+hk (without pressing kick again), u can re stand opponent after wards with normals or even specials (examples EWGF)
i’ve been using this as my main BNB against those guys if i wanna tag change. without gems gives me a solid 550+ with 1 meter usage only and safe exchange.
Sample: Wutever launcher (eg: cr.mp, lp,mp~ewgf), st.fp~ Ewgf, st.fp~ HK hell sweep(Tag exchange).
and this will also put ur partner exchange for an opponent re stand position
example/ nina as partner: cr.Fp~ qcb+hk, cr+fp~ qcb+hk, cr+fp~qcf+fp .
thats it…miss around with it if u dont know it. if u know it, then…ya >_> lol
hmm just to add…sorry cause i dont read a lot in here…not like the old days. but kazuya has an infinite loop that can be done anywhere on screen on med+ size hitboxes chars.
QCB+2 EWGF, M.p, EWGF, St.F, EWGF, EWGF = 452 (504 with jump in fierce’s) Pretty simple if you have your ewgf down because qcb2 gives you plenty of time to prepare.
JK, St.F, EWGF x2, Mp, EWGF, St.F, EWGF x2 = 512
Can use a bar and tag cancel after last ewgf on both combos for closer to 600 depending on charactor but damage scales pretty hard.
Close to 600 damage is good for 1 bar no denying that.
