Score/Sukoa from Japan has a very good Yun. Doesn’t get much exposure but here is a good match of him:
He recently was part of the winning team of some team tournament in Japan…one of those 5on5 cups, need to look up exactly which tournament that is. This guy is probably second best to Kazunoko.
Kazunoko is unparalleled on Yun play… even better than Daigo…Btw pal thanks for the vid…i like it…
Does u have footages of Daigo using Yun in casuals now??
Kazunoko. I would rate chang a little higher than fen because of his impressive performance at EVO 2012. Fentamu is still very good though.
Kim1234 said it best. It was something like whoever is the second best yun doesn’t even matter because they are so far behind kazunoko. Don’t quote me on that but it was along those lines.
Kazunoko’s yun is art. His spacing is immaculate and his pressure is more terrifying than any other yun I have seen mainly because of his reads.
Only thing I dislike about kaz is his tendency to random do upkicks, sometimes he just does it and gets badly punished for it.
I also really like (or liked) daigo’s yun. I have a feeling he might use yun for some games at EVO but overall I think he’s done with the character.
Daigo isn’t the type of player to switch characters depending on the match up, so I doubt this will happen - but I’d LOVE to see more of his Yun.
Thats just flat out wrong, he certainly would switch characters if it puts him in the advantage, because he has—many times over the years
In earlier iterations of SF, sure. If you can show me an example where Daigo has switched character in an SF4 tournament set, I’ll believe you. Exhibitions obviously don’t count. What I’m trying to get at is that he doesn’t really make a habit of it, especially in tournament.
The only time I can recall him doing this in SF4 is where he tried to counter pick Ryan Harts Ryu a few years back with Cammy and got bodied.
