I mean, you’re talking levels of psychology and sociology that may or may not be beyond many people and/or their personal/religious beliefs. In the same way being homosexual isn’t a choice, being a man or a woman isn’t one either, and isn’t necessarily reflected in what sex organs you’re born with. So, if Kayo truly believes he’s a woman, then he’s a she. If he considers himself to be a male but incredibly feminine in looks and actions, then he’s a he.

Well said. Since Kayo kept the gender she was born with a secret for so long, I think it is polite to refer to her as female. I haven’t met her personally but I can’t imagine that she would identify herself as male. Either way… I was born female, and I’ll never be as beautiful and feminine as she is. <3

I think that he should be referred to as a man, being that he’s physically still a man.

It’s easy to say on the internet, but could you call Kayo a man to her face? Had I gone to Evo this year and met her, I think it would have been rude to refer to her as male as she clearly identifies herself as female.

I still don’t understand how that happened. We saw him twice on the stream, and he beasted both his opponents. This means he was in winners, so he should have lost 2 times to be eliminated, something I can’t fathom for such a high level player.

Word of advice fellas, if you ever meet Kayo in person, don’t call her a he, unless your intent is to really diss her. Transgenders really take that personal. Plus, she does a good job of passing, so you could at least give her that.
