the FF stick feels like garbage, there i say lets get shawn on the wire tell him to get optical p 360 sticks, so we dont have to fix it everyday. the buttons are fine but the stick has got to go. when you guys get a optical stick yourself, you’ll see the difference. the FF stick is garbage!!! cvs2 on kauai makes a lot of money FF can spare us 2 p360’s.
think about this benji…do you want guys like john and terry and kirk and david to be playing on the new expensive sticks? i wouldn’t. they’d wear those things down quick. they already fuk up the ones we have now and the maintenence for them is minimal. i just wouldn’t want to see new sticks get fuct up that’s all. anyway on a side note…guess who’s on raw now??

P360’s are pretty durable… far more rugged than the competitions sticks. As far as on arcades, it’s a more expensive investment, but you never have to worry about changing microswitches or the spring. Since the P360 comes with a hard spring standard, it doesn’t get all loose and screw up the microswitches. I would worry more about putting P360’s in home joysticks, just because they are known to blow controller ports at times and kill PCB’s. That stuff doesn’t happen on arcade controls though since the voltage is exact, unlike console controllers where the voltage varies.

as for last night tourney…it was good overall. the 9 char. rule evened things out more for the weaker players. it ended up being between a select few players like usual though. the last matches came pretty tight tho. it was basically a level 4-4 battle. the only prob would be the timing. it still took damn near forever to finish. started at ten and finished at about 330. good but long but fun. if you’re wondering about the standings…here they be.

As for the stick etc, my 2 cents on that is this…
Just turn off your unit first before unplugging your 360. Also make sure your 360 is plugged in before turning on your system. I noticed people with problems usually come from them just hot swapping sticks in and out while there system is still on. Thats just my opinion though, but I am sure it will help.

Tourny 7 went down! Honorable mentions: Tony landing 3 A-grooves, Destroying a full team with sagat a-groove, Shawn taking out 2 charicters with a single ryu level 1, pre-tourny matchup Ben vs Kiha nakoruru/nakoruru winding up in a draw game, ben comming back in the final seconds using her level 3 healing. Other highlights… I dunno lmao. Awesome match up allyn. Honestly, that was probally my favorite fight out of all my matchups (difficulty wise. My all time favorite was my shut down match vs kiha in tourny 4… jesus christ kiha got W-E-R-K-E-D!)
And yet again… Kiha complaining AGAIN… after every dam tourny. I swear, we should just dedicate a final segment of each tourny to kiha. Kiha’s Corner of SCRUBDOM. lol.
As for the tourny setup… jeeze… honestly, it would have been -EXTREMLY EASY- if we stook to the original plan: Writing out ALL 9 charicters for each player and crossed them out as we went. How easy is that? Almost an hour and a half could have been cut out (especially if we cut out between matches and stupid practice shit) and maybe a second round taking place till 3:30. lol.
P360 Joysticks… give us more info. Where to obtain em and possible costs. I for one would contribute, because I know alot of shit we try doing on the sticks just don’t come out.
