I’m wondering if she has her trip command throw though, that’s pretty key.
We can finally put all that stuff about Capcom not being able to use Karin stuff to rest.
Thank you, Capcom. I never thought I’d see Karin in another Street Fighter, so I’m happy.
No command throw. It’s now her back throw.
That move list, geeez
I got Karin now so I don’t give a damn about anything else. Make Vega a non-charge, make short Knee Press -15 on block, I don’t care. I have Karin.
She can cross through and does this step back move in VT…the baits will be real.
Man this roster is filling up nicely…
and here’s my obligatory… where the fuck is Urien…
pls…
Unclear what move would get an EX version as the old kick super. Same with the EX that includes upkicks.
I think you can see cr.HP at 24sec in the trailer and it’s cancelable. Which means cancelable cr.MP, cr.MK, and both fierces so far. cr.MK has a far reach, I remember some characters had trouble tagging Rashid after that move she punishes.
The game should have music like in these character reveal trailers… unless they do?
She lost her counter, it’s strictly a v-reversal now it seems. At least going by the move names.
None of her moves have the same name as her old rekka -> slide option. Lost her air throw (kind of expected this tbh).
Interesting how her v-trigger adds her rekkas. She does seem pretty different overall
She only has rekka during V-T?
So what do her V-skill and V-trigger do? Can’t really tell from the trailer
Added range/damage/recovery on the rekkas, I suppose?
Also only one command normal? I expected more, unless Capcom doesn’t want to list all of them on those cards
Waiting for Combofiend’s post now explaining her stuff (also he never posted anything to the PlayStation Blog about Rashid, lol)
Wait, does that mean she can only do her rekka’s in V-Trigger? Or are those follow ups only from V-Trigger?
Yes, finally, I can relax. She looks very mobile, her dash looks really quick. It is so wonderful that I hate to bring any negativity, but I am a bit disappointed that the rekkas seem limited to v trigger. They were the core of her gameplay. Though it seems some of her other specials have follow ups, and at 0:30 approx we see she can juggle the opponent.
Rekka’s are pretty light on the execution requirements in this game.
Same way it was in Alpha 3 for Karin.
So they let her go really wild with rekkas during VT (should be fun trying to figure out which of those move names correspond to what just from footage.) And in exchange for that she can only do it in VT, but gets some variable enders on her regular special moves like rainbow palm, and maybe command dash/shoulder mixup, to keep the general feel. Kind of like a SFxT tekken character that turns into full rekkas?
Question being, what’s her V-skill actually? If it’s the shoulder move, that seems pretty easy to use.
Easiest way is to simply watch this video which includes the names of her Alpha 3 rekka followups and you can see which ones match up with the move list.
