he’s pretty good – only way i can contact him is to see him at the arcade, and i haven’t been there for a month or so…hahaha but im sure he still goes. he’s pretty good, but no signs of real solidity. but still good enough for me to enjoy playing

It’s super easy to kara flash so that really is not an issue. Anything to be less obvious is a tool worth considering and hk kara flash is pretty nifty. sjc kara flash is where it’s at

I need help trying to land the Kara-Flash Chop. It comes out pretty randomly for me.
This is what I do: Empty Jump in, as I land I hit down (like parry) then QCF + HK and MP. I hit HK and MP at the same time. I can easily get his Kara-throw with the same method Towards + HP and LP and HK or using Toward +3Punch and LK. Anyone have a video showing the Kara-Flash Chop in action? Thanks. I’ve tried down QCF + HK then double tapping MP and even then it comes out randomly.
Your timing is off. That’s all there is to it. Practice practice practice. A lot of people like to slap the buttons with kara cancelling because it’s easy to get the timing nearly identical each time as the motion is really basic. I’m not sure how you do things but if you’re pressing that might be your problem. Try just holding your fingers at slightly different heights and slapping the buttons with one motion.
Edit: I’m able to record video now so maybe I can quickly show my hands/screen for kara powerbomb and kara flash.
btw you can kara it with f.fierce too which is kind of neat. same technique as for hyperbomb. uses alex’s magical jab. it gives you something like the range of a strong or fierce flash. its hard to get the spacing exact to know but obviously it gives you further range.
That would help. The weird thing is that I can Super Jump Cancel the MP Flash Chop about half the time (still working on execution). Anything that helps Alex out I’m trying to get better at.
