Good shit Nick, I need to work on my meter management as well. EX fireballs have a bit of a psychological effect on weaker players, but it’s no good against top players that are too numb/high to feel any tension/nervousness.

@Axiom - I think I shoulda just went all Abel in that ft5, I don’t think I would have won it with him, but he definitely gives Ryu problems and I was surprising myself with how well I was playing him. That ft5 just shows I need a main, I guess I’m going back to Abel till next week when I change my mind. Thanks for the props, at any rate, you are far more clutch than I am from all your years of tourney play.

@Nick1Time - Pretty good tips you gave John, maybe if you’re around Tuesday you can give me some pointers on my game. Also, I’m definitely learning Yun for fun, GJ…just looks like to much fun…

Say, Boxy/Nick1Time/Lyquid/Radian vs Focra/KC Notorious/SFCatgirl/Snipermav… Something to that effect. I would like to go all in and bet on the OG team, but you just can’t sleep on the fellas that have been hitting that grindstone lately. What a hype match this would be. Since the ranks below 2 seem to keep flip flopping around now a days, it’s really hard to say where everyone is in relation to one another now. I remember not too long ago it was consistently Kong, Josh, Drew, Sean, Nick, Le and I up there, with very little variance in where people where.

So, anyone see this part of my message? I know it was a novel, but I’m wondering where the interest is for this.

Also, been in the lab with Jin. I think my BBCS game is evening out a bit. I figure if I’m entering this game at SB5, I might as well know how to play my own character.

question to all of you:
listened to JuiceBox’s ‘how to get better at sf’ podcast. its basically training tips.
i know personally i’ve been in training mode and playing a lot more than usual and being more serious and im having good results… but not exactly the results i was hoping for.
i have certain issues that i setup in training mode and try to workout- which works in training mode… and i think everyone has that story
i’m looking for more.

what do you guys do?
