what are you talking about. just cause there is a lack of info it doesn’t mean that there is a lack of hype. allot of us here are big MK fans so there is a high chance that I will play the game. I mean it has 1v1 2v2 a super meter & custom combos. what’s not to like.

games don’t have to be perfect just balanced. and the majority of people will agree that there is more balance in T6 and SSF4 then there is in BBCS. Like how many 7-3 match ups in average are there in BBCS then in the other games. and more people will agree that its** kind of** impossible to win with some characters in that game at high level play.

I like where this is going but this is a competitive gaming site where many players post. Just cause we play SF doesnt mean we just play SF. Besides if the other forums are dead then why not just post here where there are players who play their respective games do post.

GS to Nick in the ft5, helping me get my Guile up to speed in that matchup. Glad you settled down and started playing the matchup right way to come back from a 4-2 to win it. I think that ft5 helped me find the last big missing piece to the matchup which is learning to regain space with s.HK and trying to stay out of that angle where I can’t anti-air you at all.

Josh and I didn’t play anywhere close to a ft100. We were talking outside while I was smoking and wanted to get some games in so he challenged me to a ft5. At that point, I hadn’t warmed up either. People were riding the sticks longer than usual too.

-Before the ft5 Josh played me like 5 matches with Abel and like 5-10 with Ryu so that I could warm up
-Roblox, big Rob, and whoever else over there were on the sticks for a while on the right setup. There were plenty of other setups going and people were playing plenty of matches on other stations before we got back in and started playing. There wasn’t a huge line or anything
-While I was warming up, no one said shit to me about wanting to play on our setup.
-Josh sat down and Roblox asked to play some games with Josh before I got started and that was no problem at all. If he’d have beat Josh he could have kept playing for a while.
-We just played those matches with Abel and Ryu, our ft5 Guile vs Rufus, and 2 or 3 matches with Guile vs Rufus afterwards. Probably about 30ish total.

Basically the ft100 shit that me, josh, and jonathan were on about was a joke. If people are legitimately complaining about us being on the sticks then they need to say shit to the people playing, otherwise I can’t do shit about it. Frankly, I don’t appreciate being chastised for being on the sticks for too long when a) others were just as bad long before I got there and while I was bullshitting for the first hour and b) I’m generally the first person to give up the stick when someone asks even when I’m winning. I’m not gonna look around after every match I play and ask if people want to get in. People need to speak the fuck up, period.

I had to fix that a bit for you. CS is a shit load more balanced than CT, except for the bottom 3 having a hard time here and there, but everyone already knows that. Hell, the only people that even reign supreme and everyone can call bullshit on are Bang and Litchi. The rest of the cast can compete very well.

Yes, there are some 7-3 match-ups in this game (not as many as last game), but there is also some pretty bad shit going on in the SFIV series as well. I can’t even begin to touch on balance issues in T6, because it’s just too good.

Should it exist? No. Is it going to exist? Yes. Balance issues will always exist in fighters, it’s something you can’t get around.

My SSFIV comment was saying that there are bad match-ups in that game.

whoa there fuziun I just meant to post whatever games are being played right now. I don’t care how much of a balance CS is compared to CT or how either compare to the balance issues in SSIV. there just seems to be a bigger trend of some characters winning in CS because of the BS that we all know bang and litchi for. and yes we all know about the bottom three of the cast but if you think that is really the case why is there still a big difference in terms of character results in SF where as in CS I know that without a doubt that Litchi or Bang will be in the top 3 of 90% of BB:CS tourneys. If you like BB:CS that much thats cool its your thing then. I just saying that if you lose 80% of the time due to bullshit cause of a character differences and only 20% to actual skill that kinds of piss me off to the point of dropping certain games. that or i just don’t find them fun or interesting

Yea, I kinda jumped the gun there. The trend exists IMO because of the cast diversity between the games, with a smaller cast, you’re less likely to get a character you just don’t know anything about. But in SSFIV, a lesser known character may show up to a tourney and be able to fight their way into finals based on inexperience of the rest of the tournament players. I think the biggest example of this in BB would be how Hazama somehow crept his way up.

You’re right, I like BB:CS a lot and I sure have more fun playing it than SSFIV. But sometimes I just get tired of sitting idle while it gets bashed around. I’m still not quite sure about the future of CS with the balance patch coming up, but I hope it does fix Bang and Litchi, but I think it’s more of the system changes that made those two as good as they are now.

I love you guys over in KC and I’m not trying to like, force you to play the game or anything like that or force my opinion on you guys, but I know there’s gotta be some some enjoyment you guys get out of it.

Hmmm… I honestly think BB (CS anyway) gets more people hating it’s balance than it deserves. A Tager did take 2nd @ NorCal Install (Mike Z). Also on the subject of Mu, watching Puslr use her makes me think she’s a really solid character. On the stream for NCI he beat Dacidbro’s Bang w/ her (although Dacid’s lack of experience in the matchup may have helped, but still beating Dacid is impressive regardless). As for comparing BB to GG, IMHO I consider BB and GG to be separate games at this point, and have thought that since CS was released

@IOKain + Fuziun: if you guys are really like BB, IOKain you should go to hookups, and Fuziun since it’s a longer drive you should at least try to make it to Max Out. And just remember this when it comes of the naysayers of BB
