Malcom: Consider where your priority lies concerning fighting games, do you want to compete at a competitive level or just be good in your own world with it’s self made rules? Whatever choice you make understand that all players have to adjust to their opponents to make it far, you cannot take the same approch in every match.

To be quite honest Ive pretty much acepted that i have to drop my moral code per say. My goal now is to soak up all the knowledge I can and play at an competitive lvl.

Also ive found some super turbo tutorials on just basic fundemental mechanics that aply to damn near every fighting game.

Ive spent most the day just playing around with frame traps kara throw and ground game, Im not sure but it seems that im getting better at it. Although the occasional jump kind messes with me.

Why use that when I can use a PS3 Pad? It’s basically a gigantic Pad. Now if a player can play competitively using a DDR mat, then I’ll be impressed.

Back when Tekken 5 first came out on PS2, I used to mess kids up with Eddy using a DDR pad. We’d break it out at parties and craziness would ensue. I’ll never forget how hype people got one night when I did Eddys full 10-hit combo on someone to finish a match. Great times, thanks for the memory, haha.

Yo, this Wednesday (if I can make it out) I want to get some Tekken in; also maybe some GG (been workin’ on Baiken…counters FTW). Hittin’ the lab in every game BUT AE right now (and BB…meh).

Also, big ups to my folks for paying to have my car fixed (hopefully by this Saturday!), hopefully allowing me to drive myself to Screenland. If not, I’ll be saying hello to a cab driver.

I can order two if your interested. I could use a PS2 version. My understanding is that AC is the same game as Accent Core plus just lacking a few things like justice and Cliff. Someone can correct me if not true.

As for Screenland, I’ll be going so those who are in Olathe/Overland Park, lets carpool to make it easier. I can fit 4 more into my car.

going to be testing connections and a few other things this week with ant at screenland.
we want this one to be strong. from what we saw at evo, kc can bring it. let bring it to EMP. lets put on a good show

anyone interested in doing commentary? i know that i am going to sit out from everything except AE so that i can run the stream and help do commentary as well.
